Breaks my heart how mocked and bullied he so often is by the press, for daring to be an ambitious working class person. I thought people wanted eccentric celebrities? Apparently not. He’s a hero to me, I appreciate his obvious passion for what he does

How is this the fault of the press? The press wouldn’t have a story were it not for his coworkers griping about it in interviews. I’m not a huge fan of the press but people need to stop blaming them for everything! BTW, I am a huge fan of Jeremy and I felt his pain when he said the stories hurt him.

Strong is about the work and in the day and age of celebrity, Instagram and playing to the audience that kind of laser focus feels odd and contrived to so many. It's like the person that buys something SHOWY to wear in an order to illicit compliments vs the person that just wants to look nice. They just don't get it and they likely never will. Understatement is dead.

"Relieved and Released." -- He's a straight up guy. He deserves all of the opportunity that's coming at him, as well as his break from this character, have a seat Sir and do whatever makes you happy. Why on Earth are the method(s) he chooses to work, with great results, controversial. It's none of our business.

Jeremy Strong is one of my favorite actors and I love him so much! I didn’t even know him until I started watching succession and while I first couldn’t stand him in the series, over time/espisodes I just fell in love with him. It is disheartening to hear that he was criticized and critiqued and that it upset him. Here is an actor who takes his role seriously and gets dejected for his craftsmanship. I think it is just jealousy, honestly. So there you go. I love that he said he wouldn’t change anything. He’s the best. He brought Kendall to life. And gave us 4 wonderful seasons of succession! Can’t wait to see him get better and better. His future is looking bright.

Let the man do his thing? Acting is LITERALLY HIS JOB. Why are people hating on an actor trying to do a good job ACTING.

After seeing Jeremy and reading interviews he was more than ready to be done with Kendall.....I am starting to think that Jessie Armstrong creator let that weight in his decision, seemed like Brian Cox and Jeremy were done in their heart of hearts and the creator thought as successful and beloved as our show is--if the two powerhouses were tapped out emotionally it wouldnt be smart decision to do another year..........Going forward HBO, Showtime, Paramount, all the heavy hitters should have these shows sign on for 5 years to get their commitment......just when the audience is all in, they bail...........can see all sides....

If it weren’t for his creative process succession wouldn’t be the masterpiece that it is. Everything has to align for the amazing performances.

Saw him in NEW JERUSALEM in 2008, starring as Spinoza and holding his own with Richard Easton, Fyvush Finkel, David Garrison, and other theater heavyweights. Made a strong impression then, and the Classic Stage Company probably pays a bit more than $50/week, but his point stands.

As much as I would love to see Succession carry on, for Jeremy Strong's sake, I am glad it is ending. Knowing how he prepared for his role, the burden of portraying Kendall Roy had to have had a trickle affect in his personal life. Jeremy is a remarkably gifted actor. I wish him well in all his future work. I cannot wait to see what he does next.
