It wasn’t horrible, but I’m wondering if an earlier reservation time might have the music volume a touch lower? Hubby and I will be staying at Aria in November and this was one of the restaurants I was looking at for a dinner meal.
GREAT opening - the montage of pics going back and forth to Rachel!! Very good!! And those fresh cut fries...the shoestring cut is my jam...I would never leave McDonalds if the fries were fresh cut. LOL THANK YOU for another great video!! 🙂🙂🙂🙂

Glad you tried Cathedrale. Went in June. Loved it. Those lamb chops were amazing (but I did medium rare). That fig, mint tapenade knocked me out how good it was. Also had the truffle pasta and the lemon dessert. Will be back in September...that was the one "can we go back there" request.
Expensive and looking only mediocre compared to a good crepe suzette (normally perfectly cut out orange segments for instance). Price is stupidly ridiculous
Food and decor look amazing...the girls walking around??? What's the point? If there is one thing we hate, and roving entertainment while you are trying to eat... great video guys

Had the oysters for appetizer and the lamb chops and sorento lemon thingy for dessert. Everything was great …especially the price since it was comped 😎😎😎
Beautiful place for sure! I could care less about yet another nightclub but the restaurant is awesome looking. Personally, I think more table side Showgirl shows are needed in Las Vegas. Like maybe instead of a side of ranch, maybe a side of Showgirls with your Secret Pizza slice. 🍕 😅
I’ve seen a handful of reviews on this place recently that are not nearly as kind. The food did look good, other than those lamb chops that, I agree, were way overcooked, even for medium. Either of you think about getting the $70 martini in an ice block? 😮

Great video of a great restaurant! I totally agree with your assessment. We did both Atelier Joel Robuchon (at beginning of trip) and Cathedrale (end of trip) . I'm sure I'll keep these 1 and 2 until we eat at either Picasso or Le Cirque.
Oh man I really want to try out Picasso and Le Cirque - I would think both will end up outclassing Cathedrale for food, but Cathedrale definitely has a very interesting environment.
Not sure when you guys actually filmed this, but my wife & I ate there literally the same week you posted. Count yourself lucky on the fettuccine with truffles. I ordered the dish and it tasted like paste. Zero seasoning or flavor. Service was so awful I actually left zero tip for maybe the second or third time in my life. The waiter, who was neglectful and generally incompetent, actually chased us out of the restaurant to make sure we “hadn’t made a mistake.” Noise level was to the point we could barely converse and the waiters/runners kept ramming my chair all night as they passed. Just a terrible experience. Glad you guys fared better, but it’s a hard no for us.
Ok I thought this was the video you meant to post this on, not that breakfast buffet. Yea this is the kind of place I could see being totally inconsistent. There is a trend of night club restaurants going on that we really are not big fans of, but did enjoy our food. The lamb was overcooked but we had a good time luckily. We went 6-8 weeks before this was posted - so might have been more on point that first month they opened and fell off also

Hostess was rude and put us in a tiny "holding area" with another couple near the bar (which was roped off for a private party) with no explanation until another equally-rude hostess came out and seated us with no hospitality whatsoever. We ordered drinks that came 30 minutes late, wine that NEVER arrived, and were served by non-speaking runners while our waiter chatted in a corner with other waiters while ignoring our table. Waiter literally took our order, then never returned or checked on the table once until bringing dessert menus over an hour later, before chasing us for a tip. Bad food, atmosphere, service, and zero professionalism. I actually reached out to the restaurant about the issues and received an e-mail back that said "Everyone has their opinion. Thanks for dining at Cathedrale." Even if everything else had been perfect, the noise level alone would make us hesitate before returning, but the complete dumpster fire of a meal made the decision to write this place off quite easy.
loud music you can't talk over is not my idea of a classy restaurant. Disappointed they went for noise as otherwise, it looks great. But when I can't hear myself over the noise - get me out of there. Sage which was there before was my favorite and disappointed this isn't equal to that
That thump thump thump thump would drive me crazy. Had to stop half way through. You guys do great food reviews but the music is annoying after about 5 minutes. Don't care too much for the ladies in victorian outfits. Would be better if they just had a bunch of naked women walking around and they made it look like a bordello!
We did get a reservation in May but unfortunately it won't be until December - they were booked out during our June and September trips - but we will be making it there

I am not a fan of loud music restaurants. Best Friends, Yardbird, etc.
