i just stumbled upon it today while trying to get my quest cape, and ended up killing it about 50 times, it's actually a super fun boss, and pretty laid back. I enjoy. good drop table, and usually breaks even/makes money every kill.
30 second spawn time x1000 = 30,000 seconds of waiting for boss to spawn. Which is 500 minutes. Which is 8hrs. 8hrs of just waiting for this boss to spawn 1k times. Thats hella dedication.

Very different to a boss like Vorkath, which has slightly higher requirements but makes a ton of money and isn’t much harder mechanically.
I saw a post about spending 8 hours just idle waiting for a respawn of Sarac. I'm gunna guess the math is right and ask if hoping to speed up the process is works. As an iron collecting secondaries quickly, in mass, and in the least click intensive way is key. The only other process I have available is spidines but unsure which would be better to do. Sarac is profit on top of eggs but I use up supplies and usually hope guthix brings me rng and gives me a good handful of sacs.
Should save your hard and elites and use impling jars to get easy and meds, then turn them into Watson for masters XD cant wait for the 100 master video, gl in nightmare too

hey i have camtasia too- how do you record in fixed mode? i can only record in hd if record 720 or higher but then the gameplay is always in resizable? is there a setting on rs im missing to have full screen fixed mode?

Hey mrnosleep 70% of your magic level is your magic defense and the other 30% comes from your actual defense level so thats why you take less damage with a higher magic level
Just did this duo with my buddy last night , I got the jar of eyes on 5th kc was pretty easy about 15 secs a kill. Good loot for low-mid players even those who are trying for pet not bad loot
I was gonna say this boss is great to farm clues off, but you got pretty mediocre luck. That being said, you're bound to get at least 1 an hour in BiS gear, probably two with middling luck. Probably a sub 1m per hour boss, but even just to stock the bank full of super restores while farming clues and having a chance at an awesome pet is pretty worth it.

Learned recently from G4 that you can do this boss in Bandos without the need for Karil's to soak magic attacks. It can be risky, but you can flick the magic projectiles. Not sure how much faster it would make the kills while putting one at risk for immediate death.
is it true that this boss provides a 1/60 droprate for the elite clue scroll? im at 150+ kc and i havent seen a single elite, its starting to get really frustrating cauese thats the main reason im doing this boss. Thank you

Just a tip Mr no Sleep, you could cut down on spending A LOT by using manta rays or tuna potatoes, they heal as much as anglerfish but are way cheaper

It's not exactly 70%, but it does work the same in PvP and PvM.

I used a Dragon mace and dhide with the rest str bonus gear. monkfish and karambwan and some p pots. Very easy low gear requirement boss

Why didn't you use full elite void? you would get more accuracy and damage then karils with higher mage defence...
