Hot take, I think I prefer it on PS2. The gamecube may run better but I think there's more graphical bugs that's aren't on PS2. Someone is making a mod for the PS2 version of the game that fixes bugs, adds qol improvements, and adds some beta content. PCSX2 does support CPU overclocking to get better frames but I find it a little more cpu intensive.
I only tested this stuff on the GameCube version. PCSX2 might be better but I personally haven’t tested it yet. Really looking forward to the mod though.
@@LonikQ I will say the loading times make a huge difference, and I can overclock more on dolphin before it starts being too much on my PC's CPU. I'd say Dolphin's not a bad way to play ETD atm. When that mod releases along with other things Dolphin may have that PCSX2 doesn't gets added, the PS2 imo will easly become the best method. Also, wingsheild doesn't change your elemental breath or show your inventory on PS2 since the PS2 has bumper buttons and a select button.
