I respect the story line. A loving father and mother who have lost their son. I feel that. It just wasn't anything new. It was comedic for me at times 😁 I give it a 5/10. That is my humble opinion.

En lo que a mi respecta, decepcionante película.
Y es que tras la cámara está nada menos que John Woo, que tras bastantes años alejados del cine estadounidense, regresa con una cinta con mucha acción pero también sensiblera y muy repetitiva.
Toma un punto de partida que no se puede considerar original y lo lleva a un terreno de pura acción, nada creíble, hasta el punto de que bien se podría considerar como una verdadera fantasmada pues nada tiene el más mínimo sentido lógico. Pero bueno, en el cine, esto se puede perdonar... mucha veces, no siempre.
Dejando esto aparte, debo confesar que, aburrirme, no me he aburrido, pero sí que he deseado que acabara bastante minutos antes de realmente que finalizara. Y es que me ha resultado no poco cansina pues hay tantos golpes, luchas, tiroteos y puñaladas que los árboles no me han dejado ver el bosque de algo generalmente importante, el guion, que creo que apenas existe y todo se supedita a las peleas corerografiadas, explosiones y persecuciones en coche marca de la casa Woo.... vistas en ya demasiados filmes como para que epaten o sorprendan mínimamente.
La ausencia casi total de diálogos realmente se agradece pues apenas tienen algo que decir los personajes. Casi todos peleando sin parar y sólo un personaje llorando su dolor en silencio. Así que las palabras sobran.
Técnicamente competente, con estupendo montaje y una gran labor de los stunts, es decir, los especialistas, cuya labor es imprescindible en esta clase de productos.

I think we all expected a straightforward revenge film, instead John Woo gave us a character study film about self-destruction.
