So what exactly does this Pass do? you go to the priority lane with way too much luggage and tell them you have a media pass and they allow you to bring extra bags into the cabin? And you dont have to pay an extra fee? That sound really risky to try in germany i feel like they will be so confused and give me an extra fee and put my bags in the trunk anyways
Let's be clear, this badge is not official. No media badge is. Its sole purpose is to help get you where you need to be safely. It will convince some gate agents to allow you to pre board so you can make sure your gear gets a space (because often our bags can't be checked due to batteries). So it's just to make you look a little more official during the process. It mostly just feels cool. :-)
I've seen the website go up and down over the past few years. I wish I had another recommendation, but I haven't made a badge since I made these! Sorry I can't be of more help.
Go for it! If you've got enough gear to warrant that, then it's better for everyone on the plane to accommodate that. Just remember, it's not about getting to cut the line for free, it's about protecting your gear and saving time for everyone. Enjoy the traveling!!
I just checked and was able to build one. The link in the description took me to the Blank Vertical White ID which had the button to "customize design" or "upload your artwork." I clicked "Customize" and was taken to the same interface that was used when I made this video. I've seen other commenters over the years say it doesn't work, but every time I've clicked the link and checked, it works fine! Maybe it's a device or browser issue?

No. QR codes never expire (unless it's a dynamic, forwarding link managed by a service). They're literally just dots that turn into letters/numbers. They'll always be interpreted the same way forever. So unless it's forwarding to something that changes, you should be fine. Sorry you had to reprint some!

Tried to use the website. Got a whole bunch of phishing notifications and alerts. Browser said it was unsafe. Antivirus said it was unsafe. CCleaner found stuff. I wouldn’t recommend it anymore.
In reality it is sad that so many people just don't honor the constitution. So many people think that the constitution is somehow "optional". We are ALL members of the press and there is no "requirement" of a press or media pass except for access to private events where only certain companies are invited and you have a press pass to one of those companies.
I went to Xpress and they don't have the same set up to make a badge and it's way inferior to what you have there Looks like they need to fire someone's ass! I can't even use it! They just lost a customer!

The sky is the limit! If it were me, I'd shy away from the Instagram logo. This isn't a business card or a marketing tool, this needs to look important and official. This is for an audience of one: the gate agent. Leaving that space blank might even be fine. Or adding an address or contact information. A drone pilot license number.
