Fantastic talk. I work as a press photographer, so it was interesting seeing how someone works in another country. Most of it is very similar, and yes, don't photoshop your images!

During my time as aerial photographer I learned it's very handy to have a row of at least 3 connected electrical plugs with me for charging my gear in hotel rooms where usually there is a lack of plugs

In your workflow, you mentioned outputting g your images to the specifications of different clients. When hired on assignment by one client, can you also take images for a second? For instance, news outlet A hires you and organises your press pass, can you shoot images (perhaps from a different angle/perspective) and send those separately to Organisation B?
Just wondering if that is done in the industry.

Typically not. If you are hired by one client to shoot an assignment then generally the client, which is paying you, gets exclusive rights to the images and you can't sell them to another client. OTOH, your written contract with the client should spell this out. Maybe they only get exclusive rights for a set period of time, maybe not. Getting hired by one client (who might also get you a press pass for an event) generally means you can't also be shooting the same event for another client at the same time - unless this is explicitly worked out ahead of time with the client that arranged a press pass and is paying you.
