I am so proud of Talitha and am so happy she wrote this beautiful book and shared her loving experiences and magical memories with Michael in the beautiful and respectable way that she has. I’ve known Talitha since I was 14 and she has always been an absolute sweetheart. She has spoken so beautifully and articulately here with such eloquence.

Ok. Born 1966 in Los Angeles. Watched jackson 5 cartoon every Saturday morning. Piled pillows and blankets in front a console big tv(tv that sat on floor). Loved Michael so much. Followed his career, followed his heartache, followed his relationships.( I still say I’m going to marry MJ. Now it will be in heaven). The year Michael died my sons best friend was brutally murdered in March, Michael died June 25th, my father was killed by hit and run August of that year and my grandmother died dec 27th that year. I want to say that was the worst year of my life til my son died in 2011 by suicide. He was 22. I can’t watch my son, dad or grandmother on RUclips but I can watch Michael and he fills a big huge painful void. This is a true blessing thank you!!! I also want to say I used to always buy the gossip magazines and I may be crazy but I could swear I saw Talithas picture. It seems I thought who is this??? I may be making that up in my mind though. I only wear Tom ford black orchid I always get compliments on it and it makes me feel close to Michael.

Thank you for this great interview. Reading Talitha's book was wonderful. It allowed us to know a more accurate portrayal of Michael Jackson than what any other tabloids could ever do. A description of Michael Jackson as similar to all the other testimonials I read and heard from 150 people who met/worked/befriended Michael and reported their interactions with him.
Her book truly does take us on a magical journey, a real life fairytale xo

Hi my dear friend,we have something very special that connects us our love for Michael Jackson,you know how some people they bring out the worse of us Michael Jackson brought the best out of us and if you like Michael you automatically become a better person I really believe that. I heard your interview on the Mj cast and I had tears rolling on my face I left a comment for you but I want to thank you again from the bottom of my heart for being there with Michael for Michael, and sharing it with us when you were ready,you are an angel and I am sure with everything that was happening to him having people like you around him ((not many) knew that many people loved him for he was for him we got to know about him when he became famous but we loved him till the end for whom he was.People who were closed to him they need to speak up now put your experience and memories in writing before it’s too late life has no warranty’s and most of inner circle of Michaels they getting old and ones they gone everything else gone with them we can not except someone to feel the way we feel . My 40 year old musician
Fiance died 2 months before Michael. I think Michael was like 50. I remember watching Michael's funeral. I can't believe it's 2023 and they both passed in 2009? 14 years ago. Totally agree, people need to speak up and share the good stories of our loved ones. Turning 52 now and the younger generatio s need to hear the reality of what these people were like, not the media narrative.
Beautiful interview with Talitha. she has such great wisdom and words. It's beautiful to hear her stories about michael and being with his kids. some of us younger fans who never got to see him in concert or meet him feel through other fans words what it's like to experience it with him in books. I think anyone who's a fan of michael needs to reading talitha's book.
Some people especially those who don't really know him thought that Michael Jackson was too good to be true and they couldn't relate to the fact that an entertainer would possess such a great character like he had ..
Only those who had close encounter with Michael and got the opportunity to know him could attest to his goodness and greatness as a human being.
I felt emotional listening to this interview...but thank you for the beautiful things said about the King of Pop.
I love Michael Jackson and i believe that he is a good person ..and that he is innocent of all those negative accusations..

Talitha you're an asset to the fan community! I truly enjoyed every bit of this interview as much as I enjoyed your book which is a treasure and an absolute favorite of mine.
You do have a huge talent for telling stories and I took in every word without a pause! I wish the non-fans and skeptics would also hear your story, as you speak for the real Michael - who was a kind, decent man with a huge heart, and which the world seems intent on forgetting or writing off.
It's people like you who will ensure that Michael the human being will not be forgotten and live on for generations to come.

I read the whole book in 1 full day and 1 evening until late at night, the last part, the one about the tragedy, took me 4 days, I didn't have the courage to face it, I was afraid it would break my heart into even smaller pieces than they already are.
For years I have been learning to forgive, I have managed with great effort to forgive people who have hurt me but I don't know how to find the way to forgive Conrad Murrey, with him I don't know where to start, with him the road is still very long and I don't know if I will ever reach the finish line. I only wish him to develop a conscience and realize what he has done, only this will be enough to get him through hell on earth for every day he has left to live. Lots of love from Italy 💖

40 minutes in and I'm ugly-crying listening to this while baking in the kitchen, what in the world is this? Such a beautiful, good-hearted story. I feel so sorry for his children for their loss and I kind of wish that Talitha and Michael would have been a romantic couple

I’ve just finished reading this book! I’m at a loss for words really. It was such a lovely read, you can tell it was written with such love and loyalty to Michael. Thank you Talitha for sharing your experiences, and letting us in to your world with Michael. After reading it, I feel a little closer to him. He’ll live on forever in the hearts of those who love him. Even 14 years on from that tragic day in June, the pain I feel in my chest when I think about it isn’t any easier. However reading things like this book, or rewatching his concert videos, moonwalker, his books, his home movies, his interviews, his interactions with fans and reading other fans stories help a little bit. Thank you again Talitha. And this was such a lovely interview.

I really want to read the book.She was not lucky she was blessed to have been his friend and most of all to be the friend that all us fans fantasize of being...just caring for him and letting him know that we love him and believe his innocence and pure,sweet harmless wonderful superloving self was horribly twisted to something so heinous and disgusting.I can't even be jealous ,I really wish I had the same courage ,determination and dedication as she did.I curse myself everyday for abandoning him after the trial cause I was so angry he was so trusting and naive after the ridiculous 93 allegations which I knew even as a child was false.I hated that he settled but prayed everyday that he would be acquitted.I even prayed to God to take my life in exchange of his acquittal.I never stopped loving him and believed he was going to make the biggest comeback ever and be better than in the 90s.All I can do now is defend him and pray the rotten LN documentary will be revealed for what it's is..Total BS by total BS ppl.Shame on them.

Regarding that part about telling him to quit the tour, I believe from Michael’s perspective it wasn’t as black and white as the fans saw it. He was in big debt and his catalogue was at stake because it was a collateral for the refinancing and because of all certain people and companies that were involved in his refinancing so that was also big pressure for him to do the tour. I’ve read Talitha’s book and it is so heartwarming. I am happy Michael got to experience this real love that Talitha and other fans were giving him.
Talitha, thank you for your interview. Michael used to practise transcdental meditation which makes you feel peaceful and calm , he was taught by deepak chopra. I do it too. You might find it helpful to try to gain peace , bless you 🙏
This is a really beautiful interview. Well done MJ book club!!! The authentic questions and ruminations were really deep and engaging. I set aside time to listen to this and I am so glad I did. The points made were ones that I have thought about before but Talitha brings a really fresh and open perspective as to why fans are drawn to Michael. Your thoughts on why he was bullied and treated as an object by the media and larger white culture is tragically racist. No other Artist has reached the level of fame that he did so we can never truly know how that changes a person. Almost every artist and collaborator and now these fan stories reveal to me what a kind, giving, gentle and hardworking class act he was. Unfortunately, once the media 'turned' on him, most news was negative and another side of the story- his story- was sadly never treated with any respect. I absolutely loved Talitha's mic dropping - green mile story- Please know that she is making this happen by putting her story out there, by simply being herself and telling her truth.

The thing about the photos looking like he gave “strong hugs” ..based on the bodyguards’ books, video footage on RUclips and trial of Conrad Murray, he was super thin and frail toward the end of his life. He was literally 130 lbs and a tall man. Many of his bodyguards thought they would break him if they held him too hard. I don’t imagine his hugs were “strong” but more soft and gentle and how Talitha followed up by saying he would touch your hair.

This lady is super sweet and I am in no way judging her, I also love Michael as much as the next person, but some people talk about Michael as though he's a God. Michael was human like all of us. He was indeed a very special, gifted man with God given talent, but there is only one God and his name is Yeshua, Jesus Christ. We have to be careful not to idolize or worship celebrities because the Bible speaks of it as a sin. Regardless of what people believe, there is only one true God (John 3:16) and we must be careful not elevating any man above him. Having said all that, I really am enjoying you beautiful ladies interviews as I'm learning much more about Michael and it really is a pleasure to listen to. My heart truly breaks that Michael was so bullied on this earth because he was such a beautiful human being who only wanted to help the world, especially little children. I hate how mistreated, made fun of and how horribly the media tried to ruin him. It really is an injustice, but God sees all and vengeance is His. ❤

MJ used to invite groups of fans into Neverland. So it's nothing unusual. 😂 Shana Mangatal Joanna Thomae, Thalita Linehan and others write books and profit from it. They followed him like stalkers. It's explained in this interview that she is a journalist who writes stories so it was beneficial to become a fan that follows MJ than to be a journalist that follows him as MJ would not like it. 😂😂😂 As it is explained in the above interview security got tight with This is It and nobody was allowed around. Getting an appointment is totally different to following someone like a stalker up to the point of following another person to another city or even country and running routes where they might go. It is totally stalker like behaviour. It is a journalist hungry to get access to write a story that sells and profit. Looks like it's good to be a reporter and a fan.😂😂😂
