The duck 🦆 calling guy Tyler was actually good. That was some real skill. You can search for duck calling videos and they need some instrument for it but he did it with bare hands. If there were ducks around they sure would have gathered by his calling

The feed chuckle sounds like something I would do if I was 7 and fooling around

No disrespect. My daddy was the best I've heard and he never hummed while blowing the call. I hear a lot of guys do that and even teach it. It doesn't bother me and obviously these guys are amazing. I just wonder if that is something that judges listen for or just a personal preference to help phrase the call. Thoughts?

My DR-85 is so much higher pitched than your calls. Am I doing something wrong or is the call I have garbage?

Try saying GRIT, gives you a more raspy sound and they LOVE it.

    Do you inhale or exhale

You exhale. I generally try to say "woot woot woot" into my call. The T on the end helps your tongue kind of cut of the notes. That and make sure all of the air is coming from your gut.

Please share a link to a video of this. Are you able to provide volume with these "duck sounds"?

You don’t haft to feed chuckle that fast to kill ducks. Just a simple feed chuckle will work . It’s not competition calling your trying to be like the birds and trick them. Thank you for teaching others how to call though.

Isaac Kuhls not all duck calls are the same they don't sound the same as far as single ,double triple reeds and types of ducks like pintail gadwall ,wigion wood duck ,mallards you like mallard hens you say ten ten ten with wood duck you don't say ten u use pressureized air from your lungs.with mallard drake you say ahhhh with a base note u have to get your voice low low loww so all duck calls are different some are flat sounding some are louder than others

I have two mallard calls, one for feeding calls and another for quacks and hails. You don't need two but I suck at calling and my feeding call is easier to blow but too high pitched for loud calling.

It's meant to mimic a hundred ducks all doing it at the same time
