Fascinating, I have been involved in tractor development for over thirty years and understand the difficulties of bringing a prototype to the market and getting funding. The dominance of the major manufacturers makes it exceedingly difficult to build a new product niche in an already crowded market.

Would you like to do a story about Torpedo tractors. They were produced in Croatia during Yugoslavia under the license of Deutz Fahr. The factory has an interesting history of manufacturing everything from weapons to tractors and marine engines.

Honestly, the administration hell is not only a Polish problem, i see you've never been presented to the French administration wich is the hell for devil's, an absolute nightmare...
And back in the day (80's) in our farm we had a Zetor 5911 alongside a Case IH. :) 733

Great video I live in Australia migrating from Ireland 30 + years ago We ran both Zetor and Bizon combines their was also lots of Ursus tractors in our area of the midlands I visited the Zetor tractor factory in Bruno Check republic shortly after the change from communism I tried to suggest to the Zetor people that I spoke to what sort of tractor might increase their sales in Western Australia It was like beating your head off the wall As we say in the west they had one eyed vision and I can see in those country’s that excellence and innovation might get a dim view from lazy superiors ,From growing up in Ireland in the sixties it was a case of shut your mouth and know your place . Not good for progress

Thank you Matheo! Why design machinery - that demands you flatten all the ground. Why not work with Nature. These old ideas need to be continued!

Here in Spain we also have tons of men and women who were despided or even attacked after achieving a great success. Isaac Peral, the inventor of the modern submarine is the best example.
It's a shame to see how much the bureaucrats who ruled the socialist countries in the post-stalininist period degraded them. If they were true communists they should have promoted and awarded him and also provide him with his own factory to keep working on the project. But it was too late.
It is also a shame to see how much Polish industry has lost since the restoration of capitalism. This is also that also happened in Spain (with obvious differences) when we joined the EU. They give money (a "good" part dissapears here and there) in exchange for dismantling the most productive parts of the industry and extensive privatizations.

very interesting and some "heavy" stuff at the end. Yes Officials..... But really, when we already had the Side-Hill Combines in the 70's in Europe, would Dual wheels not have been a cheape rready-fix cure to the hillside problem - They manage in Switzerland / Austria with their specialist standard form machines. NO harm in your interesting take on all this. Cheers!
