Australia has to be one of the only places in the world you can see both European-style trucks like Scanias and cabover Volvos, and American-style trucks like Kenworths and Macks. All with that special Aussie flavoring (more power and roo bars!). Great stuff, thank you.
Absolutely. It’s one of the few places where there’s a good mix of American and European brands. Note that some makes such as Kenworth and Volvo have factories in Australia where the trucks are built specifically for the Australian market.
Great clips. Pity we couldn’t get some of these green city dwellers to leave their caves and come out and see how the real would works. 👍

I am from South Africa The trailers is a 6m 2 axel and a 12m 2 axel and the truck. You are not aloud to be logger then 22m
Trucks moving is an economy working - great to see.

Wow, very hard to choose a stand out in this vid. Loved the W9 pulling the Hitachi, but the Toll rigs are awesome as well as the quad dumpers 🤘
I was happy to catch the Road Trains Australia (RTA) Mack hauling quad fuel tankers. I’d seen one the previous day and missed it !!
@bluefj-wc3vz We don't have w900s in Australia like they do in America, we have T900's. That was likely a T909 (or t908, t904).

We have T’s as well but not same numbers.
Your T909 have similar hoods as our older W9
@@bluefj-wc3vz Yeah that's right, from a distance they're similar but these ones are purpose built for Australian conditions. They have a much higher seating position than a w900 too, the bonnet is also a lot taller but not quite as long I believe. We also had w900s decades ago, we even had what's called a w900 SAR.

I agree with you, the variety is crazy good here. Lots of makes and models in various exciting combinations. Of course the mega quads are extra special, but the rest is cool too. Are you an oversize pilot? I assume the white car at 4:41 is yours. I'm sure that's a unique job, especially for a truck fan. Excellent footage again Phil, these small remote WA towns are very charming and tidy.

At the 2:30 mark , anyone know what weight he is pulling ?? Looks like bags of fertiliser maybe ? Be no chance of seeing anything like that here in Ireland, that's for sure 😅 🚚 🇨🇮
Not sure on the weight but the bags are ammonium nitrate, heading to a mine site for blasting purposes.
The Ammonium Nitrate is the main ingredient in ANFO (AN + Fuel Oil, eg diesel), a cheap explosive used in the mining industry.
