Finally! A video NOT sponsored by cricut and giving us excellent info! Thank you so much x. I want to buy a Cricut but do not want to keep buying all sorts of add ons or pay for anything else. I just want the machine and that’s it. I hate when they sell you “A” but can’t use it because you have to buy “B” and then to make other projects then pay for “C” also. NO NO NO!!
@@ATouchofLiz truly cricut hates me and would never sponsor a video I make and I wouldn’t want them to anyways. They only let people say good things about them and there is a lot bad
This was a very informative video for me since I'm getting used to using cricut design space mobile app. My main issue is downloading free images on Google cause of all the infringement issues. I just wanna use images for personal use and have to watch certain videos on what's legal to use for free.
Thank you for this video. I don’t use my cricut frequently and was surprised to see that the background remover is no longer available. To me that seems wrong. I bought the machine when it had abilities. Why are they then able to cripple its features? I don’t understand. I use my iPad and some of the sites you mentioned combined with Procreate so I am not really impacted at this time but I am miffed.
The auto background remover feature was and is an Access Subscriber feature only. But the tools of the Magic Wand and Eraser tool are still available to use by everyone, subscriber or not. Corrine shows how to remove a background and or select colors for layers by using the magic wand tool and erasing portions by using the eraser tool, which are always free tools to use.
I draw a lot of my own images using Medibang Paint, which is free and incredibly detailed, and fontspace is my favorite place to get free fonts. Between those, I'm able to pretty much make whatever I want! Having to fight with cricut is a headache, though. Not only are there a lot of feature that are price blocked, I have terrible luck getting it to cut properly, and making stickers on a cricut joy is a very involved process.
@@Izzy-cp8yt I don’t find making stickers so be super difficult with machines made to actually cut them. Cricut joy is a super lacking machine that I wouldn’t recommend anyone purchase
@@CorinneBlackstone my mom got the joy a few years back due to price, and I tried making stickers on it once. It's possible, but takes about ten steps to do. Even normal projects we have terrible trouble with. I can't make the darn machine cut basic paper with either shredding or not cutting all the way through, even with a brand new blade! If I ever buy one, I'm getting a full size machine.
Does anyone else change the canvas colour all the time. My projects tend to have a white background so I am always changing the canvas colour to make positioning easier. Wish Cricut would make this an option.
How do l access all the cartridges that someone from Cricut actually sent in and individually loaded for me, when l sent them photos of all my actual cartridges And their corresponding boxes? Are they just on my computer somewhere? I am moving my pc to a different room, so it's unplugged right now, waiting to be reset up. Thank you!
@@CorinneBlackstone Thank you. This is what I thought. Sorrt, it's been so long since I've been able to use my cricket because of working long hours. So this is the down side of it all. Meaning the only way to access them would be thru continuing to pay for it, correct? Also, l will still want to learn your steps to use cricut.

Cricut does offer this … I’m not sticking up for them lol …but they do offer to change the canvas colors.

I do, but go back & forth a lot so just use to cging it. Or I make a square the color want & use it to test bg color so can turn on & off.
Great info. Thanks.

They should be under images in design space

I don't know about cartridges but would think since purchased they should show up under "my images" so not $Access.
Great video.
Does the free files on Design Bundles have a commercial license without a membership
Yes
@CorinneBlackstone thank you I did not realize that. Have a good evening
You kinda rock... ❤!
Just watched this video for like the third time trying to catch everything we have to take notes lol
Does anyone know how to add a font? I want to use a Harry Pooter font for a couple things. But I vant figure out how to add fonts

Can you still use designs downloaded from design space once you cancel the subscription?
You would have to pay for any images you used if you cancel the subscription
Is this on desktop because my app doesn’t have these options
@@breatillery8698 yes your app will be lacking in several of the options offered with design space access it’s one of many reasons I do not recommend using the app
Question... why do I HAVE to pay for Design space in order to be able to "Make" it. ??
You don’t. As long as you have only used free elements from design space or designs you brought in yourself you do not oay
❤
Canvas colour can be changed !! I thought
Yes it can. Very easily it’s just annoying to have to change it everytime. It would be nice if we could just set our own default color
