How is it changed? For 500 years your country was going around the world murdering, looting and stealing from anybody it could reach under the guise it was bringing "civilization" to barbarians. How is it different today? It cannot steal on the outside anymore, so it turned on its own citizens?
I arrived in Moscow before 1990 working and decided to go out to the only club that served foreigners, sitting alone I noticed this amazing woman walk in with her friend and plucked enough courage to go and talk to her, she spoke English a little, I was leaving the next day but returning one month later, again by chance we meet and the rest is history and a long story, we married in the schelles arrived from Moscow.
I hope Daniel reads this. Congratulations on finding your soulmate. Life does take us many times on paths we could have never envisioned sometimes weeks, months, or even years previously. I'm glad you feel at peace where you now are. I married my wife in Temryuk 24 years ago coming on up June 3rd. We lived in both Phoenix and then Northern California for the first 21 years of our marriage. In mid 2021 we moved to Russia and settled 6 months later on Sochi for the time being. We're both now at the very beginning of our retirement years. I agree with your statement Daniel that you feel at peace being in Russia. I can say the same. I feel as if my soul, my spirit is at peace here. God Bless you and your family. May your sharing your story help others who feel restless anywhere think about finding peace for themselves also.
Moving to Moscow or any other metropolis for expats, essentially nothing changes, except that many on the streets do not speak their native language. The same cafes, restaurants, supermarkets, hotels... The standard of living is probably even higher than in the West. Therefore, essentially nothing has changed for you, except for your residential address, and the temporary inconveniences associated with the language barrier. Real life in Russia is outside these megacities..

Thanks so much!
It’s not the American people, it’s the American government. Why do you think so many Westerners want to move to Russia? Because we want to move away from the corruption.

Great video! The microdosing apparently is a good help fighting the PTSD. Where you live they use Fly Agaric for that
Thanks so much!
Overall culturally traditional and family values is what’s important in life ! The west went the wrong way and Russia went the right way ! The constitution is under siege and the faults and mishaps of Soviet system has been remedied to become the amazing Christian NovoRossiyaFederation !
Thanks for your support!

I watched this a few days ago..... I didn't comment on it at the time, but I'm still confused as to why you are "shocked".... I'd be shocked if there wasn't - and disapointed!
Every man is different.
now that's kind of vid that reminds me how much alike we are as humans, no matter where we were born. Also I don't know if it's some kind of cognitive distortion but it *seems* to me that many decent people tend to like Russia and even move there.
Life is calm here, it’s sometimes difficult to explain. Come visit Russia. 🇷🇺
I live in Canada but sometimes I think of moving to the USA 🇺🇸 or Russia 🇷🇺
The sad part is that there are German Leopards there, but the White Tiger is Abrams.
Everything changed for me. I come from what Russians would consider a village. I’m from the sticks. 😅
@@MoscowPhotog I myself come from the outback. But he was born under the Union in Kazakhstan. Since 1985 I have been living in Russia (I stayed after the army) and since then I have been living in the Tver region. He worked in Moscow for 25 years. Therefore, I have something to compare.😁
@@MoscowPhotog In USA, like Russian Federation, the "villages" shrink and the big cities grow.
