'God Goes With Us as Believers': Fox News Sunday Host Shannon Bream on 'Love Stories of the Bible'

- WASHINGTON - As a respected Washington journalist, Shannon Bream is on the rise. In addition to recently becoming the host of Fox News Sunday, she's also making a name for herself as a bestselling author.
In a recent interview with CBN News Shannon explained how her faith informs her job.
"For me, it is the number one thing in my life, so I hope that it's imbued in everything that I do," she said. "Reading, praying, journaling, I really enjoy as well, so that sets me up for the day. And if I'm in a hurry, if I oversleep, if I hit that snooze too many times and I miss that in the morning, I know it's going to be a more challenging day. But God goes with us as believers and walks us through those things. So, for me to spend that time with Him in the morning and lay that foundation is how I do everything else."

My favorite Fox Anchor used to be Jane Skinner until she retired, which is when I switched to Shannon. They both exhibit Integrity and Class, both essential qualities that engender Trust.

Wow. I'm very excited about this. As long as CBN News doesn't force her to "cave" on her beliefs, and she doesn't cave herself to liberals who call themselves "Christians" but aren't (by that, I mean, doesn't cave to their beliefs) I just MIGHT actually become a subscriber. And if I do, that will be a herculean win, because I do not subscribe to ANY news channels.

I like her as the host of Fox Sunday news. A Godly beautiful woman better than the previous host who moved to CNN. Most of Fox anchors are Christian and they proclaim the name of Jesus.

Personally, I've always had difficulty concentrating on what she is saying. It's those stunning eyes. I sometimes wonder if she is one of those "angels unawares" the Bible talks about.

I saw an interview with a politician and all she doe is attempt to cut people off. As a host, she should be listening to her guest, not trying to talk over him. It was terrible.

That's impossible. God knows everything. People only know a small amount of everything there is to be known.

You know what I think? That God is slowly giving up on America and that God is looking at China....whether we like it or not. And there is nothing the 700 club or CBN can change
You do know that the historical Jesus (versus the mythological Jesus) was born and lived in Palestine, which means he was brown-skinned, or, put another way, not white. Put another way, Jesus didn't look like Ted Nugent. Cheers!
