put JL ob a tires and rims on my 88 YJ. The front studs are just enough to get 10 threads. The rear wheel studs are too short. Replace them w3ith Dorman part # 610-234.1 and then the rears will be perfect. The 610-234.1 are for the rear 627 Knurl and 1 5/8. The 610-449 iw .627 Knurl and 1 15/16 on my 89 I had to trim them a little so they didn't stick out past the adapter. Also JLs are 14mm instead of 1/2 inch. You can still use the 1/2 inch nuts but they need to have a bigger cone than stock. Coyote 56K542 is a box of 20 bulge acorns for about 20 bucks. This took a lot of research hope it is useful.
Is method racing the only company making these bead grip feature? It sounds like it works well but I’m not into their trail designs. I like the lynx wheel but it’s doesn’t look like they have it.

So many choices! I think Method's MR 704 is safer and the finish stands out over the rest)
