An amazing song that will be treasured for many years to come. Tyler has an amazing voice and instrumental work is phenomenal. Dream on my friends. Thank you for reviewing. 🌹
Finally, tbh Aerosmith doesn't get enough love from the reaction community, so I recommend some other good ones from them. Beyond beautiful. Sweet emotion. Pink. Toys in the attic. Dude (looks like a lady). Mama Kin. If you guys could react to any of this, it would be so awesome.
A very young Aerosmith did a cover of "Come "Together" for the movie Sgt Pepper's lonely hearts club band..I think you would like that cover as it also shows Tyler's low and high notes. Great reaction, guys. Sage is indeed a word for a wise man or learned man ......as well as a plant/ spice..... 😂
@@metaphoria3 you could definitely make the case that he was talking about himself looking down at a mirror in front of himself and seeing the lines of coke laid out on.
Em's version was Sing for the Moment and sampled Dream On. Plenty of Aerosmith songs worth checking into aside from the Armageddon song. Train kept a Rollin, Back in the Saddle, Same Old Song and Dance, Last Child, Walk This way.
Trash Talkers ! Anything from "Toys in the Attic" 75 " Rocks" 76 From Toys 1) Toys in the Attic ( self titled track 2) Sweet Emotion 3) Adams Apple 4) No more No more From Rocks 1) Back in the Saddle 2 ) Last Child 3) Sick as a Dog 4) Nobody's fault These 2 albums were their absolute peak. Suggest starting with 70's only(all great)., BTW "Dream On" from their debut 73!! They did not break big until " Toys in The Attic" then the previous 2 albums were greatly revisited!!
great choice guys. I remember the first time i heard it. it was brand new and my friend borrowed his fathers speakers to play it for me. Nobodys Fault is Areosmith's best. lots of love
Smokey nailed it! He learned from the foolish and the wise. He's an older man looking back over his life and saying live every minute of your life, the good and the bad, to the fullest because it goes by fast, (like dusk to dawn) and we aren't promised a tomorrow. Great reaction guys! 🤘Rock On!🤘
Great reaction guys. Definitely a classic. Tyler wrote this song when he was 17. It wasn't even a hit when it was first released on the first album. They had to release it on the third album (Toys in the Attic - "Walk This Way", "Sweet Emotion"...) and that's when it charted well. Tyler has always had the high note range. You'll hear it through out every album. But you're right..he's one of the greatest rock vocalist ever and that means he has many different ranges and doesn't have to sing just high notes. There's a reason though why he's called the Demon of Screamin'. And that fire guitar you're talking about...Joe Fuckin Perry. You mentioned the Eminem sample...well the solo at the end of Em's song was specifically written by Joe Perry for that song. Perry Is God.
Heard someone else say the main melody sounds like an alarm clock. Almost like the world is trying to wake you up, but you gotta keep fighting for your dreams.
First concert I ever bought my own tickets to. It was the Back In The Saddle tour (Wikipedia tells me the date was August 28, 1984) It was held at the Orange Pavillion in San Bernardino, CA. This was their first tour since the band broke up a few years earlier. Opening for them was a band called Black N Blue. I was 14. Still have vivid memories of this show. They put on a heck of a concert, and Black N Blue kicked some major ass. This song always meant to me that even though you are getting older keep following your dreams! Never put them away. Thanks for the great reaction. Looking forward to your next.
This was definitely one of their early songs being it was on their self titled debut album. Another of their early~ish songs I like is Kings and Queens.
My mom's favorite band! Bought her tickets a few years ago to see them in ATL. It was a "dream" come true for her. So happy I was able to do that for her. 🤘❤
🦋I've Loved Aerosmith Since I Was Knee High To A Grasshopper. 🤣Still Have My Tickets From My 21st Birthday. Me & My Sister, Went To See Them Play At Blossom Music Center In Ohio. During Their 9Lives Tour. Such A Great Memory. Great Reaction Guys! Also Eminem's ''Sing For The Moment'' Would Be Another Great Future Reaction. 🙌 Half my life's in books, written pages Live & learn from fools and from sages You know it's true, oh All the things come back to you...
Always loved the concept in the chorus, "Sing" could be replaced by 'celebrate'... Celebrate the good, celebrate the bad, Celebrate life because tomorrow may not be here for you... Chase your dreams and make your life the best that you can...
I'll say this again...if you like this you'll like Humble Pie and their songs Black Coffee (live), 30 Days In The Hole, I Don't Need No Doctor. Steve Marriott had one of the best voices in rock and roll back then.
Damien Demento's finisher ws the knee drop. Only lasted a couple of years in WWF. He now works as a sculptor. Can you please react to a great band from Finland, Wintersun - Time (TIME I Live Rehearsals At Sonic Pump Studios). They are a melodic death metal band which I think you will like.
This is a song for the ages, literally... It speaks to the universal human experience. Ironically enough, when it first emerged, it barely moved the before in the mainstream.lol
Hi bro's ! I love Airosmith, they realy great ! When im down i need some songs from this wonderful band, than i feel much better as bevor ! I love you both, you are great ! Greatings from germany, from munic ❤❤❤❤❣
For some reason this early Aerosmith song has aged better than more recent gems like "Love in an Elevator" or "Pink". I still enjoy the track "Living on the Edge".
Not heard this one in a while, good choice! You gentlemen need to check out The Warning, a 3 sister rock band from Mexico. They have a lot of great songs already but the latest one, Disciple, is my favourite so far. Another underrated band from back in the 80s you might like is Annihilator - Alison Hell is a dope tune. Keep dropping the cool reactions gents!
Great choice a defining song of my youth, my older sister influenced me with aerosmith and many more . P.S. as a life long Dodger fan im depressed but rooting for Braves all the way.
Australian Rap, complete - vapor of darkness, just pure shit. Got to say unlike many reaction channels its nice to see you guys are always looking for good music and actually discuss it more than just surface bullshit.
Y’all got me thinking now because of your comments about sitting to listen deeper into the words. Every time I look in “mirror” all these “lines” on my face getting clearer. You look into the mirror while doing lines. I’ll just leave it at that.
Eminem sampled this song in Sing For The Moment (off The Eminem Show). Love this songs lyrics & the vocals at the end are so epic, Steven Tyler is a legend!
Check out a Aerosmith's "Seasons of Wither" or "Train Kept a Rolling". "Hang Man Jury" is another beauty! Thanks for this youtube channel. You guys are fun to watch and great to listen to!
Since you're wearing a Bring me the Horizon shirt it would be fair to react to their song "pray for plagues". But it would be even funnier if you did it exactly after reacting to Drown
Hi, new subscriber here! Loved the reaction and actual discussion about the song, band, and singer/ songwriter. That's what made me hit subscribe. I'm not a huge fan of the group but I think you'd enjoy discussing "Eat the Rich" and "Livin on the Edge" and I've been waiting for someone to do a combo music movie reaction to "Don't Want to Miss a Thing" the love theme from the ever-awesome Armageddon - where Liv Tyler, Steven Tyler's daughter and actress, plays the love interest of a young Ben Afflek and the daughter of Bruce Willis, who are oil drillers who save the world from a giant meteor. One of my favorites and from this, I think you'd like them both really good... the song (maybe start there... the video has a lot of movie clips) and movie.
I always took this song as a Carpe Diem epic... another off the wall Carpe Diem song people don't usually think of like that is "Mama Said" by Metallica
Nice guys. I once told you guys to check out the lyrics more. Way back when you first started doing Babymetal. I guess it's time you got around to it. It wasn't just because Babymetal was in Japanese but because of things like this song. The great songs always have more to them than what you first think. Good job guys waiting to see what song lyrics you check out next.
Hey guys I came here interested to see what you thought about this EPIC tune👌 You do a great job and it's amazing to hear what difference people think about what inspired lyrics to songs. As you know RUSH songs have some lyrics with great meaning Im wondering what you think about one in particular "Losing It" Keep up the great work
Always loved that “you got to lose to know how to win” part 😊
Unless you're in college football then you have to win every game

Seasons of Wither, One-Way Street, Uncle Salty, Nobody's Fault and Lick and a Promise, for the lesser-known ones.
Aerosmith is a band that I could see a hundred times. Seen em like 6x’s and left every show super satisfied 🤘🔥🖤

Wasn't that the Beatles??
I remember that movie. Aerosmith, Peter Frampton & Bee Gees was in it.
I believe Steven Tyler wrote this song when he was 16 or 17 years old.
Ironic the lines on the face part when they looked like 20 year olds at 50 playing that show hangin w Jimmy Page backstage ‘92 or somethin
@@metaphoria3 you could definitely make the case that he was talking about himself looking down at a mirror in front of himself and seeing the lines of coke laid out on.
@@gdo3510 good call superimposition style I like the visual
The rumor is he wrote down the lyrics on paper with burnt matchsticks…he didn’t have anything else to write with
The lyrics will blow you away even more when you realize Steven wrote them when he was 14 yrs old
🤯🤯🤯
You really hear Steven Tyler’s vocal ability in this song. So good 🖤

Smokey it's shocking how sharp some of your observations are😁

Songs for radio in 70s were 3 minute-long: it was a standard for broadcast scheduling issues
Zeppelin, Rush, Skynyrd, Deep Purple, Sabbath all broke that rule.
One of the greatest songs made by the greatest rock n roll band in history
Enjoying the deep dive into the lyrics videos.
Yay! Great song, sent you my fave version on IG. They were bit older but love how he & Joe do the whole Plant & Page harmonizing in that solo!

Ronnie James Dio did a great cover of this song, I hope you'll give it a try.
Steven Tyler wrote this when he was 14.
"Lived and learned from fools and from sages..." Leaned from fools what NOT to do, and from sages (wise men) the right things to do.
How bout check out Dynamite Hack, Boys in the Hood , NWA cover.
Sing for the moment was Em`s cover. Cover sample, think he used so much of the song it`s a cover with different lyrics.
