I feel like the effect of UMISEA is shown in this video. It shows the JP senpais that EN members are very open to lewd jokes and actually likes it. It really reduces the awkwardness between them and makes them more comfortable in making funny "extreme" jokes and pranks.

I mainly watch EN and ID because I can understand them, but usually you hear everyone idolizing their JP senpais who paved the way before them. With the EN and JP MC server merge, watching the new collabs and interactions that happened as a result is humbling, to see that while the JP girls really are amazing, they're also not that different. They have a large amount of respect for the success of their kouhais, they're pretty easy-going and fun, some were even nervous to meet some of the EN girls. The merge has been a win across all fronts in my book. Maybe in the not too distant future we'll have even more collabs between the girls in other games too.
A lot of the EN and ID girls were fans themselves of the JP girls. So its no surprise they both adore and respect their senpais. The JP girls however are pretty much unaware of their popularity and were kinda treating their kouhais as equals. Like u said, its a wonderful culture and its wholesome to watch.
