  • To change the date format in Windows 11 to the dd-mm-yyyy format, open the Settings app and navigate to Time & Language , Language & Region. Scroll down and select Administrative language settings, then click on Change date, time, or number formats. In the Region window, go to the Formats tab, and select the short date format dropdown to choose dd-mm-yyyy. Apply the changes, and your system will now display dates in this format.
