Hi carl, thanks for your great works.
Thanks to you, I have received a successful skills assessment as ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN not long ago from TRA.
It was processed in 200 days instead of the stipulated 120 days.
I did all the application myself after watching one of your educative videos on skills assessment.
Once again, am super grateful. 👍

200 days... OMG... I don't know how this Aussie speed could keep up with the fast changing world nowadays

      @@ChannelAMEC thanks once again.
These skills assessing bodies really need to up their game, and do something about the processing times.
You can imagine the frustration and anxiety 😰 when I was waiting, especially after the stipulated 120 days.
Anyways, am super grateful Carl 👍

Hi Carl. I am unsure of what occupation I should select. More than half of my experience (8 years) is more on Cloud migration and implementation, and it's not on the list. However, I do have technical support along with the cloud role and separate development roles. On my current company (2 years), I got testing and some dev works as well. Should I put ICT Support and Testing Engineer nec on my selected occupation or can I select Software Engineer (since this is more on demand)?

Hi, thank you for this video and it’s a great help. I am one of those skilled migrants that doesn’t contribute tax so I don’t have this tax evidence to show. But i have my bank statement that is matching with my invoices. Do you thinks I can pass the skill assessment in this case? Thank your in advance

    Hey Carl
I have completed a skills assessment as required for the Expression of Interest (EOI). Currently, I have approximately 3.1 years of work experience (in the same company) after completing my MBA. However, the VETASSESS has deducted one year of experience as a requirement for meeting the desired skill level, resulting in a total of 2.1 years being recognized.
My question is: when applying for the EOI, should I list my work experience as 2.1 years, as assessed, or 3.1 years, as accumulated post-MBA? I have received conflicting information on this matter and would appreciate your assistance in clarifying it.

I wanted to know, on minute 1:00 you say that the sponsor visa 482 is going to take away the requirement of the skill assessment?
Thanks in advance for your answer!

Very helpful! Thanks you!! When you have many years of experiences with many employers, do I need to submit evidence of employment about every single one? Or only about the latest few years where my experience is relevant to the nominated occupation?

Very informative video on a much needed topic :)
Do you have any news about the next invitation round for 189? Also, do you think there might be any occupations which can be given preference this financial year or things could look similar to what happened last year where engineers and other occupations were invited on 65pts?
    Thanks
