The first thing is balance. If you have that then you can be "really loose" on the handlebars. Or you can call it a light touch. If you have a light enough touch, your front wheel will choose its own angle, and this is where you want to be, and that front tire will be kicked out farther than you would be holding it. That's the place of maximum grip, and should you hit any gravel, that's the place where the tire will recover on its own which makes it the place you really want to be. So get balanced enough to have a really light touch.
Learned that the hard way, was on a semi twisty road riding the bike for the first time and there was this car up ahead that looked like it was going to turn so I kept looking at it to see if he was gonna turn or not and as I’m getting close I notice I’m heading right towards the car.
@@Light-zg6fvdo you think it comes in natural, like do you think that anyone could learn the lean naturally.like you’re turning and you look where you wanna go and you never done it before,do you think it’s easier said than done or it’s not hard
Rode my first road bike today after riding dirtbikes my entire life(totally different when meeting corners) as soon as i got to my first corner muscle memory kicked in and i stuck my leg out than thought to myself wtf am i doing this is a road bike😂
Bro same when I got my supermoto 3 years ago lol. Sometimes I still put my foot out on my MT09. I'm like yo this ain't a dirt bike and bring my foot up lol
Before!!!! You don’t wanna be dancing on the bike when/as the bike is cornering. Why? • Upsetting the suspension • Limited movement/mobility when you’re shifting Only corner in the corner nothing else.
What about like on a 90 degree turn I find it sketchy sometimes because sometimes there cars hella on me and I’m down shifting to take the turn at a good speed but sometimes dosent work out so good
@@adobomoto appreciate ur response bro I enjoy ur videos I try to take those 90 degree turns around 2 gear so 20 to 23 mph but sometimes I feel like I’m going a bit fast and go to wide and feel like ima fall I’m just trynna get down on taking a turn at a decent speed I usually counter balance when doing u turns but that’s because I’m going really slow should I counter balance at 20 to 30 mph
I just lean and let the handle bar steer by it self, target fixation happens the most if you put your weight on the handle bar and it makes it difficult for the bike to turn.
Hang on a minute!! He said When you’re at a 45 degree angle you can bring the bike lower and sometimes hit the throttle harder !!! Really !!!??? When you’re at max lean angle or about 45 degrees you shouldn’t be HITTING the throttle harder at all !! Anyone who hits the throttle at max lean angle is about to find themselves catapulted in to outer space !! The throttle should be applied gently and progressively as you bring the bike back up progressively and then when you are at much less lean angle and coming out of the corner you can then and only then hit the throttle hard and NEVER before that NEVER !!! ☠️ Don’t take this guys advice or you may meet god quicker than you had planned
Yeah the butt all the way back and the adding throttling while adding lean kinda show this dude is just an amateur track day rich kid...should probably stick to just showing off expensive bikes

@@angelmontoya4865 well in my story I went flying out of a corner 😂😂
Luckily I was not speeding and was full geared too 😂
This saved me on the track

No. rule no. 1: buy a sportsbike
Can we get a ride along pov sometime? love the content man
Quality tips my G 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
My tip would be to turn a little bit before the turns and turn a little sharper. The bike typically wants to go straight.
👍 very helpful

I love your channel so much
Go wide? Scrub the speed with your rear brake. Not by jamming it but gently apply pressure on it.
I know that this is a noob af question, but when countersteering, I am assuming the handlebars are never turned too much? Like when making u-turns…
Should you adjust your body to the leaning position before reacher the corner or as your getting into it??

Hey kababayan.. juz want to ask if ur goin too fast in corners..whats the best thing to do.. down shift then brake or brake first then down shift ?

Thanks you for this video
Does this still apply in 2023?

Oh, the guy again who never rides the broken down Aprilia...
Sarcastic or??
I am way to tall to sit like that I ride a CBR1100 and it’s tough to get down that low by the mirror
W.
My issue is I keep going wide while leaning
how to slow down while at corner

More or less like on any other bike or motorbike.

do you even ride
No, i just look at it and pretend to ride
My recommendation is to avoid trying to make a video on this topic and leave it to the experts.
