Same here! If it wasn't for Kyle going to prison I'd had never found this podcast and in turn never found out who Woody is and just what exactly a bad take it.
It’s not just bc of weed it’s because of all the firearms, machine guns and suppressors he had. If it was just simply the weed he wouldn’t have gotten prison but the fact that he owned firearms and heavily regulated firearms and devices is why he got it so harsh.
@@steakeater4018 it’s very illegal to possess a federally illegal drug/substance and any firearm. I’m not saying I agree but that’s the law. That is why when u do ur background check it asks if u are a user of or posses marijuana or any other federally illegal substances. As I said if it was just the weed he prob would have just gotten probation or had to pay some fines but since he owned highly regulated firearms and other items registered with the ATF is why it is a felony and why the feds got involved at all.
@@steakeater4018 actually his lawyer did great he was facing over a decade or two in prison and he got it down to two months lol. If he had no lawyer or some public defender or something he’d still be in there lol

Reminds me of rehab and the bad roommates and crazy people you see. I think my worst roommate while I was sober was a guy who was in the military and I think had ptsd or something. He was cool, 40-50 year old black dude, he was a great guy but he yelled in his sleep. The first night I hear “hey, HEY” so loud I jumped. I’m didn’t say anything and he kept talking to himself and I realized what was going on. He would yell in his sleep every night so loud It’d wake me up, I could tell he was going through it so I didn’t really care, he was only my roommate about a week
The worst worst was when I was in a government run state rehab like bottom of the barrel. It was a mansion detoxing like 20 junkies at once chucking like 3-4 people in a regular size bedroom and letting them sweat it out. I was in benzo and alcohol withdrawls, I was given Ativan multiple times a day and suboxone so I was nodding out constantly but the alcohol withdrawl made it so I couldn’t sleep. At first I was in room by myself and it was chill but then I had a room with two other roommates. Both for alcohol withdrawls, like half of what I was drinking. They are either snoring or puking, all of us getting up multiple times a night to violently puke, or a nurse waking us up. Longest I’ve ever stayed awake in my life, I was up for 4 days straight because I couldn’t stop puking, I could maybe keep a sip or water down or a protein shake. Day 2 or 3 I’m starting to hear voices from dt’s. Day 4 I’m fully hearing voices and now having visual hallucinations, I thought I knew someone’s brother from a prior rehab because his face looked similar to me to a guy I had met. I’m like “I went to rehab with your brother” and he’s like I don’t got a brother. I ama’d myself, went home to eat and sleep in my own for the night and went to the rehab with military vet the next day

I realize these are recaps from old episodes…regardless it’s funny how 60 days in jail gives someone a “wealth of stories for years to run on” Any jail time is not fun, I just don’t think 60 days in jail necessarily makes you an aficionado on prison life.
