The idea that ricks mind hated being inside Jerry's brain so much he committed suicide immediately. Either that or it realized how pathetic it was being jerry
I think Jerry got overwhelmed by ricks intelligence, since the original conflict was Jerry saying what he could do with ricks intelligence, when the only thing it turns out he could do was kill himself
Floridian here, this law firm advertises everywhere all the time and Morgan himself is a known drunkard (he pays for a round drinks in random bars on occasion, so I've been told) and supporter of legal weed initiatives in my state.
I think the brain swap is beautiful commentary. Rick believed anyone can become a genius and how smart you are is 100% determined by the work you put in. Jerry believed the opposite, that people are born smart and so your intelligence is 100% determined by your genes. Then when they swapped brains, Rick immediately couldn't handle living in such a genetically inferior brain and killed himself, while Jerry, having a superior brain now but none of the skills that Rick worked so hard for, immediately died on accident, proving both of them wrong.
@@24NyomeTo be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Rick and Morty. The humour is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical physics most of the jokes will go over a typical viewer's head.
@@24NyomeYeah, that's called show, don't tell. This is also why I say that the insistence that Show Don't Tell is superior is nonsense. Telling would have been very useful here.
17:56 "fun" fact: the spaghetti Rick's family were eating in the beginning of the episode was his ex-husband' spouse, you can see the same haircut in the body, so basically he killed himself because of the divorce :/
I don't think it's that odd when we see what the constant drive for profit makes people do in our world. What's the moral difference between eating unaliving victims compared to using child slav3ry to make chocolate cheaper where it's not uncommon for some of them to die, or buying an entire populations water supply so that no one has water to drink so they can sell it back to them at a 900% higher rate leading to many deaths? Or giving free baby formula to african countries for just long enough that the woman is unable to produce breastmilk leading to her having to buy more, or else letting her infant starve to death? And all of those examples were just one company, Nestle. To me these things are very comparable. At least the "sewerslide" victims had a choice in the matter.
I want to say I love Ian and Harry’s performance on Rick and Morty. They’re different but I’m already used to them, I just want to show them love because people hate them and their voices
They did fantastic, imo. Theres a couple times towards the beginning of the season where the voice acting was kinda wonky but 99% of the time I couldn't tell they got new voice actors. I hope they're not getting too much hate.
@@FrancisR420 yeah I don’t know everything, but I feel like Justin didn’t care for the story or characters like Ian and Harry do now Loved Ian’s performance on 7x5 and Harry’s, they aren’t perfect but they didn’t want a one to one to Justin, they wanted the characters. Also there’s the shit with Sean Kelly that adds hate and fuel to the fire, but a whole other thing lmao
Rick was 100% in the right in the Unity episode about not needing to talk to Unity. She dumped him, she has 0 right to know about his life. “I’m worried about you” doesn’t suddenly give you the right to renter their life without consent.
First time I saw the spaghetti episode I was eating a double cheese burger with bacon and fries. Watching the scene. Thinking. Yeah, thats what makes vegans, vegan. being aware that meat had a life. And tore into my burger Wondering what that spaghetti tasted like.
How concerning is it that I actually go out of my way to occasionally watch the spaghetti episode while I'm eating spaghetti just to see if I can stomach it?
The steaks are probably from the corpses of dead Smith families from alternate realities. EDIT: I found a better theory online. Someone said its just regular meat from real-world processing standards. 😂
3:20 I just realized in the episode Jerry body (or fries) cares about hair because he has Rick’s (burger, love those names lmao) paranoia so Rick would be ‘paranoid’ on how he presents himself, so that’s why he cared about hair lol
I love how both Jerricks had the Rick side hurry to say no to touching Beth, then the Jerry side thought, "Hold on, guys, let's consider it, at least".
The “there’s a memory of a 30 year old version of me” and the end of Jericky is in reference to that memory Rick from when Rick went into Bird person’s memory. He was stuck in Rick’s brain, but after this he gets stuck in Jerry’s brain, which is the whole springs in everything bit
Glad that you're actually enthusiastic about S7 - its really great, like pretty much all of it. The fanbase blows the 'badness' all out of proportion though. Sensationalist culture will sensationalize.
Fun fact about the Spaghetti episode, Fred's wife's original husband she was married to is the same guy rick cuts open at the beginning in the mortuary, you see them go to his funeral after they were in the mortuary, implying he unalived himself after the divorce. Interesting little detail.

It's really not Morty's fault that planet decided to commercialize their "spaghetti". Like, that's a weird reaction to learning that about your race
People IRL found out they can make money by exploiting other people (often to death) and that industry is booming.
So much trouble would have been avoided if Morty knew how to just shut up and stop pretending to be a good person
