I was there. I wish you all could have been there. I haven't been the same since. He was in a trance like state the whole time...dancing in circles while singing and playing guitar, eyes closed. It blew my mind. He got the crowd chanting halfway through the show...I may have left my body!! Words cannot tell..1979 was different. He cut the show short because he wasn't feeling well. He was gone 18 months later. So sad. I think of him all the time. A Prophet for Peace. We could sure use some of that these days. Stand strong and love loud!

+Adriene jackson Jane Love your comment a lot. When Bob closed his eyes forever I was only 14 years old so without chance to enjoy him on stage ever. But in comments like yours we've got the possibility to imagine how special that moment could have been. Thanks so much for sharing your impressions of this wonderful experience.
I do not know how to describe my feeling, or how to describe what his words and his music mean to me. In simple terms... I will say this. I listen to Bob, and I follow his words to read my Bible, and meditate on his message. This man is a prophet. Forget all the smoking and stuff. His words are divine, heavy and deeply spiritual.

Yes it is. The one that's filmed is from '79, but Bob also played at the same venue in 76 and this one from 78
