- Welcome to Episode 20 of my Minecraft Hogwarts Tutorial! Today we complete the area around the clock tower with the clock tower courtyard and the bridge connected it to the west wing!

Thanks for this wonderful tutorial on how to build Hogwarts. It’s been a blast.
I wanted to let those know that are on Bedrock Edition I found a couple of commands that work with the command blocks for this tutorial. The water doesn’t work quite as well as in your video but its what I could get to work. If someone can improve on the commands I would appreciate it. The commands are:
Water fountain: /particle Minecraft:water_splash_particle ~ ~3 ~
For the sound: /play sound ambient.weather.rain @a ~ ~3 ~ .2
Hope other find these helpful.

The play sound doesn’t work for bedrock it says play is an unknown command
@@x.equine.chloe.x7902 playsound is supposed to be one word. Don’t know why a space was placed there.

For bedrock here is the command you need for the particle effect
/particle minecraft:water_splash_particle ~ ~2 ~

23:16 these are actually eagles eating snakes. it was rowena ravenclaw getting back at salazar slytherin for some fight they were in
The crow statues are actually eagles and are a reference to the Mexico flag. The director of Prisoner of Azkaban Alfonso Cuarón added those because he's from Mexico
Eagle = ravenclaw

Le me who started a survival and thought to build the Hogwarts and at the foundations, I don't know what I messed up and I rage quit and deleted that world and I'm building it in flat word and I'm in this episode

I'll only be showing the important interior locations, common rooms, main class rooms, great hall, and some video game locations which I deem important etc. As for other areas it's for you guys to make up since there is no official floor guide and so if I show it, I'll just be showing how I've made up mine. And I like to inspire creativity and I like the idea of everyone making their own corridors and linking each area together in how _they_ feel it should be. Inspiring the use of imagination and creating multiple unique Hogwartses based on their _perception_ of what they believe it should be like. I'll be showing some corridor ideas and templates which can be used around the castle. I hope this will inspire and spark imagination for people to create their own unique Hogwarts story.
Could you also use a mixture of Stone, Cobblestone and bricks for this build? In my medival world it isnt quite fitting in

How do you do the command block commands on bedrock edition? I typed in the commands exactly the same and they don’t work. Please help me dragonod!
As I said multiple times, the command only works for Java edition. I do not know how to do it in bedrock

For bedrock edition I was able to get the fountain commands to work by using these commands. On repeat and always active. The fountain isn’t quite as cool as the video but works and looks a little broken anyways.

@@rayjenkins3812 I tried those commands just now and it’s still not working. I don’t see any particles and the sound command says it doesn’t exist. Idk what to do at this point.

End stone bricks and black stone work well :)
on bedrock using waterlogged stone walls and barrier blocks to stop spread makes an ok fountain

Hi dragonod, in episode 4 with the roof I had a problem because it wont match up in the middle. The other side is shorter the the other.

Loving the vids sometimes you talk or go a lil fast for me as I have a hearing problem and have to listen carefully

Oops sorry! I've tried to talk slower in recent episodes. I definitely speak slower than I did in Episode 1 haha. This tutorial requires no texture packs :)

Lol it's ok it's just your lil fast sometimes not always I have to pause and playback a few times but it's a great build
Yeah I make the tutorials in a way that you have to pause do you can finish off something. This allows me to get more content into each video. Well my resource pack in my main map is completely made by me so nothing would be similar. Though you need no resource packs for the tutorial

Does anyone have any idea why my ambient for the waterfall is only heard when it rains because as soon as I move away from the water fountain the rain goes all quiet and when I go back to the fountain the rain noise comes back

Only works on java edition, if you are on java just type exactly what I type

Hey,is it duficult to make something this big?
The first episode is by far the hardest since it's the foundations which can go wrong quite easily and not line up. After that it just requires patience to complete it!

Hey, for some reason when i try to use the command block with the cheat you gave, it doesn't work. I'm not sure why since i have java.
What error does it give? Make sure you type exactly what I type and have particles turned on

argh at the beginning i started doing hogwarts to the ground so now i cant to the stairs or anything.....
I hoped for a non-cut series, but because of them i seriously messed up in the first episode.
There are blueprints in the description of episode 1 :)
If you do the first episode reasonably correctly, then everything else will come easily.
I admit I did episode 1 far too quickly
