Another great show from Kleps! I think my 4to1 hill climb gears are holding my back but it drives so good in this hilly town I hate to change them. Take it easy Bruce
Well, there you go, you need to do hill climbs. I can’t believe this stock T was only two seconds slower than my modified T. I’m going to have to work harder on it.
Thanks it always has ran good. I took the pan off once. To check for shims. There aren’t any. That’s how I know it has cast iron pistons. We call it rough and ready.
Just watched. Wow you a real McCoy timed event. Wonder how fast with top and windshield down. Full race mode You will be taking your fenders off next. 😂😂😎
I first found your channel by accident, and watched your Oldsmobile Curved Dash video, great car too! ... now I've done a collab with @FlivverChannel, I'm going to have to do a Quarter Mile Drag in my own Model T now 😂 ... that's 403 metres for me 😆 your 1913 looks great! But I'm wondering why you didn't just apply the parking brake to stop that back wheel spinning when you started it... that's what I do with mine 😊
Gday Mitch. Brake was on. That car will flat run over you. Motor has never been gone through nor rear axle. It’s a great survivor. Saw you on Flivver. Also watched your sis drive. Good one. Been down under in 2018. Sydney Brisbane Newcastle coolum beach. Irwin zoo. Allora on the downs and Texas for a T rally. Meet some great T people. Hosted by the Partington family. Your country is beautiful. Will be back. Episode 11. Shows my Aussie friends. It’s a small world. By the way the Model T is still doing what it was designed to do. Take you to new places and meet people you otherwise wouldn’t have. Cheers USA Bruce.
So doing a little math here, If you had done a flying start 1/4 mile in 30 seconds, that would been an average speed of 30 mph. With a standing start and time just under 30 seconds, your "trap" speed would be somewhere around 32 -35 mph. Not too shabby for an unrestored, 110 year old car that had a claimed top speed around 40 mph when new! BTW... Love your Ford's Garage shirt. I drive a Model T at Greenfield Village a few miles away. People LOVE that ride!
The tractor girl was a great addition to your video, she sure is pretty. Love these fast and furious videos you need to contact a software developer to make a Playstation hit. Love the front jack and jack stands.
Not super familiar with a T. Does the rear wheel spin because the gear oil is cold? Does it eventually stop as oil heats up? Did '14's come with electric lights? What tire pressure does a T need? I've read 60 psi? Neat old car.
Questions questions question a T does not have a positive neutral it has a multiple disc high-speed clutch that likes to grab. Also why it is hard to push a T. Motor acts like a brake. I run 40 to 50 in tires The original owner changed a lot of things on this car ie headlights. It has been driven to CA an Fl from Ohio. Back in th 1920s. By org. Owner. I have this car documented back to org owner.
@@KlepsGarage Thanks Bruce, I knew about the clutch, but didn't realize that's why it would grab. Wondered about the tire pressure. I knew they were higher than an A. I always like the "NO SKID" tire tread pattern. I've seen many early T's with the electric lights. Many were done years ago like you say. That is a great T, looks right. Thanks for the answers, really enjoy your channel. Be well, Brian
@@KlepsGarage Thank You , will find it , I have an antique vehicle not as old as this T more like the 40s . This will help see how accurate its speedometer really is
I use a wireless winch instead of unpaid volunteers. It's an ATV winch (2500lb) & i built a "travel bag", for it, that has a small battery plus tie down chains, so it can go anywhere. Works great for motorcycles (with a good strap on the remote) because I can winch them while sitting on them ('cause bikes only have 2 wheels).
Better than i aspect the acceleration of the mythical Model T o late brass era, I'm from Italy, beautiful prairie in this landscape : the place is in USA or Canada?
Again, your memory is good. Original owner drove it to California and four or five times to Florida from Ohio. I guess I should do a video on that car and the history. Probably why it runs so good it’s wore out.
Does removing the jacks count as part of your run time because I think Scott has won but I'm just a girl. (Hee hee) What a beautiful collection. My youngest son's name is Bruce as well, it's a great name that only suits a Bruce.
Hi Bruce’s mom thanks I don’t know about that on the time. Maybe. Stopped by your channel looks like you are having fun. Put yourself into the videos more often you get more views.
I have spent a lot of time in the right seat and also driven that car. Bruce needs to do a history of that car.
Thanks Bruce for getting it out.
Hey Hank. Yes. Need to do a history back to original owner.
The neighbors must enjoy seeing your old cars passing by!
They do. Is it old. That’s just Bruce.

Glad you liked it Thx for watching. 😎
i didnt even hear that caddie crank! what a luxurious car.
It’s a nice one. Mic was on me inside car yes it is very quiet and luxo barge. I need to do a vid on it. Thx for watching
Great launch, and good drive! Impressive original car in excellent tune. Amazing what she can do!

last year I drove our 1916 at AHRA 1/8 miles drag track, did 15.15 sec at 38 mph, video is on 2hacks garage channel.
That’s pretty good are you running a turbo. 🤔
no turbo, all original except the valve seats@@KlepsGarage

Great maybe I’ll see you on a tour I’m north of Dayton OH. Have been on several Labor Day jambo s. But not last two years.
Cheers
"drive em if you got em" Couldn't agree more! I'm a 'daily' model A driver. There Cars! DRIVE 'EM'! BTW....I'm enjoying your chanel. Keep it up!
Thx for watching. Yes they were built to be driven and the average person can fix them.
Unlike today’s cars 😎
Little off the topic but man I can still feel the ride of that Oldsmocruzer.....what a car they are.

Haha you are going to give her a complex. Great idea fast and the furious slow motion edition. Thx for watching.
Great video and lovely T. Maybe I will have to accept the challenge but not sure it would be up to your standard.
Standards what’s that. 😂😂
Can't wait!
I think everybody’s going to be surprised I was.

Excellent video Bruce! I’m prepping my 1920 T pickup for a 1/4 mile run - coming soon.

Great let me know when it’s out.
What is the speedometer app that you showed?
Speed box.

So much for letting a classic car warm up for a minute before driving off.
I did. Hmm. 🤔.
Car ran for 2:20 minutes in real time. Before driven. How many cars do you own.
I use a wireless winch instead of unpaid volunteers.

But my towing girl is a lot prettier than a winch 😂😂😂
@@KlepsGarage maybe, but a winch is faster (& probly more reliable, but don't tell her that!)

The thumb nail with the lay down front seat was the trigger
You can see that small pic? Good eyes.
And saw it on my phone
Cool you younger than I. Better eyes.😂😂😂
Did you get your grass cut first?
Yes warm up in grass no bleach pit.
I dig your show. Sort-of like red green. Only way cooler stuff.
Thank you. If the women don’t find you handsome they should find you handy. Or in my case I can fix their car.
Thx for watching. 🙏🏻
cool deal
Thx 4👀😎
Was your dad's name Frank by any chance from Indiana?
No. Byron from north of Dayton.
Thx for watching. Nice Indiana truck you have
@@KlepsGarage thanks, you have some nice toys too. Looks like I will need to watch some more of your videos to see rest.
Car was actually quite fast for 1913.
It’s very good and practical for its day and that’s why 15 million were sold. 1909 to 1927. Thx
Are you trying to be the next Jay Leno?
He was famous before acquiring the legion of wheeled vehicles.
Not even trying. I just have a lot of old cars.
Another guy on RUclips did his Model a in 23sec @ 55mph
Well why would anybody want to go so fast. 😂😂 I know there is a lot of hill climbing guys with overly modified T’s. That will scat. Thx for watching.
My 22 Touring just blasted off a 31.4@41
Who knew these cars are so fast. 😂😂🤓

Nope. None of today’s cars are built to last more than the warranty period. Thx for watching 😎🍰
Exactly 💯 these antiques will outdo the new garage anyday!! It sat for 20* years and ran there is proof
Thx 4 watching 😎
How do you rate a cute tractor girl? Doesn't seem fair.
Sheer dumb luck I guess. 😎
You have a model T that has been parked for 15 years?!?!?! Sell it to me! I'll give it some honest to God use!
There are plenty out there for you to drive 😎
Not old and cruddy ,,,old and beautiful ❤better than this late model crap on the streets foday
Agreed 😎🍰
Don't drive on the grass!!!
Just now watching this video. 😂😂😎
