Get rock bass legend Tony Franklin onto YOUR tracks for less than the cost of an hour of pro studio time! Imagine the groove, the tone, the attitude, the experience ... all there for you to jam along with, add to your own songs or build totally new songs from the bass guitar up! Tony has created an original groove library designed for just that. Tony Franklin Fretless Bass Grooves Volume 1 gives you 12 songs with 10 or more looping sections in each. 184 loops in total! Most loops are 8 bars long, but some are 16 or even 24 bars. No mindless repetition here. Each loop was carefully composed and performed by Tony to create the living, organic groove that only a real bass player can provide.
And you can use the loops royalty-free! Build your own rock, pop or even funk hit using the inimitable groove of fretless bass master, Tony Franklin. The library is also ideal for drummers: just sit down at your drums and jam along with this legendary bassist. Pick up your guitar and do the same! With varying styles, multiple tempos and keys, Tony Franklin Fretless Bass Grooves Volume 1 will slide you into the ideal creative space time and time again. Tony's years playing with The Firm, Blue Murder, Whitesnake, David Gilmour, Kenny Wayne Shepherd and many more top artists have made him the bass legend that he is today. Now get that epic groove into YOUR music!
This product includes 12 songs in several formats. First, you get the complete songs played start to finish -- both with and without a click track -- so you can start jamming with Tony immediately. Next, you get each section of the song as a perfectly looping WAV file that you can drop right into your DAW or sampler. Each song has between 13 and 19 individual sections labeled like "Intro," "A1," "A2," "B1," "Chorus," "Rideout," etc. This way you can assemble your own song using the sections in any order you want.
Then for power users, we have included "beat sliced" files in 2 popular formats: Rex2 and RMX. These files allow compatible software to adjust the playback start time of each slice so that the loop can dynamically match the tempo of a song without altering the pitch of the loop, as would normally happen if the audio file was slowed down or sped up. Beat-sliced files are supported by PreSonus Studio One, Propellerhead Reason, Steinberg Cubase, Steinberg Nuendo, Cockos REAPER, Apple Logic, Digidesign Pro Tools, Ableton Live, Cakewalk Project5, Cakewalk Sonar, Image-Line FL Studio, MOTU Digital Performer, MOTU Mach 5 (software sampler), Spectrasonics Stylus RMX and Synapse Audio Orion Platinum, among others.
This is really cool TONY ☮️🎸
Fretless is so great to play , it’s seductive and puts out supernatural tones , love it !
Thanks Tony coaching☺
Tony is the nicest guy you'll ever meet.
I play a fretless P-Bass because of Tony. One of my bass hero's.
All I can say is you are so
Groovy on the bass
LOVE Tony Franklin! KEEP ROCK'IN Tony
This is great stuff. I need to find some strictly drum tracks to do this with.
Tony is a complete bad-ass!
Tony is my second favorite freteless bass player...just second to Jaco.
But... Tony rocks, Jaco didn't.
but thankfully rocking doesnt mean everything in music...
They use to have a Joco fretless at Guitar Center. Genuine piece of crap! Worst set up I ever played. I've been playing the fretless for over 40 years. I use it full time. Glad to see you play one
O prefer tony because the precision tone and the style, but jaco is a great composer
I love the idea
Hard rock bassist + Fretless bass + nice overdriven tone= EPIC! :D
If you listen to this without looking at the video you'd swear he was playing a fretted bass guitar. Inspiring.
insane how good hi intonation is. Try it! u off by 1/100 of an inch and it's out tune....what a master!
Nobody would think that a fretless bass guitar doesn’t rock after they had experienced those live records and videos by the Police. Sting almost exclusively played fretless while with them, and he also was the first guy I noticed who played his fretless models with a plectrum. Always wondered if that had something to do with the Police beginning as a punk band.
Love your playing. Are you familiar with the work of Alan Lancaster who gave the band Status Quo their heartbeat? 😊💛
rock n roll
so weird, played one of his signature fretless pbasses recently and it was incredible, but I play totally different styles like funk n jazz, but this bass works so well for it. If anyone is feeling particularly generous, please buy me one :(
for me is the first one
Yeah the foam effects intonation but you can adjust.
Jam
Blue Murder!!!
mestre
How the hell do you do those notes on 1:08 ? Are those harmonics? Because, a harmonic dies when you tried to slide it, right? :)
Pinch harmonic
and the harmonic only 'dies' because of the string losing vibration as it loses solid contact with the fret... obviously not a problem if it's only directly contacting the neck with no frets.
WeAreantiPop ohh that makes a load of sense. cheers!
are the strings flats
or rounds ?
Flat.
Round wound strings will damage the fretboard.
Tabs, please? :D
What's a white snake?
He had the most ridiculous hairstyle when he was with The Firm...Ridiculous even by 80s standards.
tony , r u still at fender
jimmy harris No. Not since 2011.
I saw he wasnt playing a fender while in blue murder either...
Nice sound, but I'd rather play my own fretless bass.
