I drove one of these in the 00’s and it was the most comfortable ride I had ever driven at the time, as well as being amazingly styled and flat out sporty. I dont know what happened to Nissan quality, but the mighty have fallen far from where they used to be in the 80s and 90s(My first car was an 85 maxima. That thing was a 300ZX cosplaying as someone’s mom’s car.)

I saw a ten year old Altima today in "Flahrida". It had a window decal on the back glass that said "Aww...did I hit you?". Of course the bumper was dented in several places. At least they're owning up to the stereotype. 🤣

That type of self awareness is rare to behold

Drove a 2024 SV trim as a rental. This is the most uninspiring vehicle I've ever driven. Feels ultra cheap, doesn't ride particularly comfortably and the materials feel like they were pulled right out from the budget bin. The CVT makes the engine loudly drone under load and the vehicle feels more sluggish than a 2011 Corolla we once owned. This thing is not worth the $26K price tag when you can buy a comparable Camry or Accord that would be MUCH more reliable.
For a brand that advertises 'performance' and 'sportiness', this thing is an embarrassment.

Mechanics always say they like 2.5’s. Since the Mazda 6 hasn’t come out yet Im thinkin Altima soon. Maybe the new Integra as well.

The 2.5 is an older design but it’s proven technology that should be reliable long term

These are very comfortable and efficient! I wish those CVTs had a better reputation.
