    I have about 1000 rounds through mine. Has occasional failures with fmj. Failure to feed specifically.

    About the binding trigger when the weapon is dirty: There is a linkage through the slide. Perhaps the slide rides on a carbon build-up. Kinda aaallmost in battery. So the trigger can push the slide.
    Dunno - Just a thought.

    • @DrakeDragonheart
      @DrakeDragonheart  2 года назад +2

      It looks like there might be a bit of a burr on the top of the “safety” portion of the trigger that binds when pushed at a certain angle

    Excellent and detailed review on real world experience. I purchased a used in excellent condition ALIEN PERF EDITION. Looking at the CREATOR EDITION. Either in BLK or BLK and Gold? Thank you for an honest review. Stay safe, Cheers

      for the most part yes, unless maybe you run the retro slide. Still waiting for them to hopefully list it in production

    My dot has also died in the middle of a stage. It was hot that day and this gun does get hot. My theory is that the battery got cooked.

      According to Lancer they shipped with battteries that weren’t to spec, so wasn’t making full contact. Switched to brand name batteries and haven’t had a problem with that since, though Lancer was willing to send me a new optic

    That gun needs to be taken apart and cleaned PROPERLY there is no "issue" you just can't clean for shit, and seem to be scared to take it down...probably the wrong purchase.

    • @DrakeDragonheart
      @DrakeDragonheart  2 года назад +6

      Sure, go ahead and make a video doing a full disassembly on yours. And then maybe you’ll realize there’s not really any way for carbon to get in the trigger components. The issue turned out to be a burr on the trigger “safety”.

    You're taking that well, especially for a $5,000 gun. Well the gun is made with exacting tolerances so much so they say you can replace any part of the gun with any other gun's parts & it will work without adjustments. Looking at how dirty the gun was it makes you wonder if it's the blow back design that's causing it like what happens to an AR-15 when the Bolt nose has to much clearance with the Bolt Carrier Group, Mega Carbon.
