I was watching the tackle shop in Perth promote it and I told my wife I will buy some. The thing I hate about RUclips fishermen is they never tell you how many hours and cast before they catch. I have been fishing for 50 years and bait is Number 1. Soft plastic is only polluting the Ocean we LOVE. From a Aitutaki Cook Islander
Yes they do stock the product so probably want to help promote it. I fished the lure for an hour for nothing I then changed to the ZX and I hooked up 2nd cast…. Im going to do a video fishong only the buckabous and really put them to the test… Thanks mate and happy fishing
Great video mate, really enjoyed it. Funny old thing fishing, you get quite superstitious on lures etc. I ve done ok on the Buckaboo but Crush city prawns are my go to , they just seem to deliver for me. Have a great Christmas.
You are 100% correct. However I dont think ive done the buckabou its justice and they are quite nice to fish with… I think ill do another video with buckabous only!!
Yeah I've tried the buckabou as well (even the new bon chovy / jig wigs) and have yet to catch anything on them. I've had much more luck on the ZXs like yourself, even the humble Sazanami (which is my favourite) Plenty of species on those, not just the flatties. Definitely all about confidence in your lures at the end of the day I say. Love the video mate, subscribed!
Good video, I’ve just gotten into fishing and haven’t been having any luck around canning bridge fishing with squid and soft plastic. Do you know any better spots around the river or have any advice?
Soft plastics need a lot of patience but are very much worth the reward when you catch a fish. Fish the soft plastics around structure you’ll get something soon. If fishing bait id head upstream to ascot - guilford way and aboid blowfish. Bream are great fun on bait.
Yeah personally not a huge fan of the buckaboos, I have a few myself and never seem to have much luck. However the ZX and TT range have been my go to this season.
