"This body is not built to sweat. This body is built for chess." That needs to be on a t-shirt 🤣
That's a great idea!
Or was it “chests”?
On behalf of my father, who was a millwright for 33 odd years, until his retirement in 87, I thank you, Chris, for the shout-out.😁👍🥶
With the oil pooled at the bottom and the cold at the top all you need is one match and it will solve BOTH problems!

Stumbled upon your channel a few days ago. Finding these videos fascinating. Thank you.
Welcome to the weird! I'm glad you're enjoying the show!
really big carburetor
Exact same principle as the vacuum pumps we used to stick on the taps in the chem labs at school when we were doing vacuum filtration. Never knew it could work on the scale of a room.
Sounds like you've been having a rough go the last few weeks, and for that and all you do thank you
I appreciate you, thanks :)
Last year Our whicked gates where pluged by a lot of sticks and leaves, and we couldnt open them up to the needed percentage, so we closed the shutters right before the turbine inlet and let the water drain out, but there where still water leaking throught the shutters but it was low enough for us to open up the hatch and go down there and take all of the stuff off of the turbine. Gotta say the amount of air it was sucking throught the over pressure pipe was insane too bad i cant add any photos of it.

The downside is the room is not sealed very well...
Or is that a perk? What would happen if the room was sealed fairly well and atmospheric pressure in the room simply started dropping..
Ooh, i wonder how far down a "pump" that size could actually go XD
well as frost accumulates on and around the walls a toyt seal might be achieved.
Fun fact this is how compressed air used to be produced
pretty glad we are getting out of -15/20c weather these days, it really slows down everything and makes every task an endeavour.
I wonder how cold it could get if you had left it like that... A Venturi should be capable of a 2:1or greater compression ratio... Which would be, I think, -100C? Of course that's -7 psi, so...
Did anyone pause and read the disclaimers? You will laugh your ass off 😂
His disclaimers are the bomb.
You are welcome to come visit here by me, where it is 26C, and the rain that is falling can easily be used to shower in, as it is, despite falling from 10km up in the stratosphere, well heated by compression on the way down, and it is actually warm. However, being a pasty pale Kanucistan, you had better remember to lather your fragile skin with zinc oxide paste, liberally, on all exposed surfaces, because the sunlight will penetrate, and broil you from the inside out, as opposed to the local people, who have a tiny bit more melanin in as sunblock, and get more than enough vitamin D from the tiny amount that penetrates.
Not to nitpick, but isn't water incompressible? Not much drag on a droplet shape to add heat either. Maybe you just have warm rain?
Do that crap in the summer!😂
Oh I wish we got to schedule in advance when the idiots decide to break things.
Oh dear God do you know how terrifying that was to hear you tell me it's a cardboard covering that kind of water rushing Tell me people don't work in any position to be able to fall through that
Could you try to organize all these videos into playlists?
I think, as much as I bitch about them, that I'd rather a Florida summer than that. I did wonder if there was a venturi kinda effect through the turbine with it all pulled out like that.
Is this supposed to say season 3 or season 2 in the title? I've been trying to follow along the videos and I'm a bit lost now lol
3:44 meh, it REGULARLY gets to -50F (before wind chill.... which is 50 to 70 mph) here in NE MT
.
you guys dont know what cold is
.
.
if that happened to fort peck..... it would be shut down till Spring
Read the DISCLAIMER
Lmao……this was awesome to watch.
Haha, you said annulus
Did I hear this cat say he was in Michigan? I'd be curious since I'm from Michigan but live in Nebraska.
Man looks like you could use a bigger propane tank with it freezing up like that...how many hundred BTU is it?
Usually like 12000 for those
what's bad about a diesel heater?
Diesel exhaust has a lot of unburned aromatic compounds that do not combust fully in the brief time it is able to be combusted, so they spread through the air as a noticeable odour. LPG heaters generate a cleaner exhaust, mostly CO2, H2O and CO in small amounts, with almost nothing else as byproduct, due to the short molecules combusting fully, and only trace amounts of thiols, from the mercaptan added to show leaks to the nose.
Unless they are brand new and perfectly adjusted, they stink like diesel.
Incomplete combustion, probably of all the big (molecularly speaking) waxes that are put in diesel and nr. 2 fuel oil wut fer pump lubrication. K1 kerosene doesn't have those and stinks less, but kerosene use comes at the expense of, well, expense cuz cost more per unit volume.
Fumes from exhaust are pretty strong.
Diesel.
venturi
I have read your disclaimer and I just need to know if you plan to come here for my wife or shall I ship here there?
