I have the first version of the 65a metal Esc. It’s a 60a I believe that went on my 7 2806.5 1300kv motors. It’s a super cruiser and now my main film rig since I’ve been doing gigs. Been flying it freestyle, LR, and for Cinematic. Just recently motor 2 esc blew the heck up mid flight. So I’ll be getting the new 65a one.
I often observe and have some layout analysis on new ESCs on the market, and this one caught my attention. It's interesting how they came with external dedicated comparator chip, the LM339Q which can be seen as the third QFN chip on the logic PCB. Surprised you didn't even mention it a single time, what's your thought on this?
You seem like someone who know's a bit about digital electronics. I was wondering your opinion on the individual tekko f3 65A esc's. They seem to used to come with an ultra low .25 mohm shunt resistor. now they have the m30 shunt resistor, which I cant find any info on. Do you think that will make a bid difference in efficiency?
I joined drone mesh patreon a few months ago and within a couple weeks he sent me the Holybro Tekko32 F3 metal ESC as a prize. Thanks Drone Mesh for your honesty and keeping us updated about products
Almost at 60,000 subs! Congrats on the great work and help you do for everyone! I still can't believe that I started watching you at less than 2,000 subs.... Krazyness! I'll throw you a 100,000sub party lol!
could u do a comparison against w these vs the new lineup of Tmotor esc's please? I heard the Tmotor may be better even vs these . thanks for the great information
Good filtration and insane results.still they're listing it needs the cap for 6s... That would be a shame.would be really nice and clean to install it without the need of a capacitor
Have you considered looking at tmotor's velox motor lineup? They're super budget (around $12) and i was wondering if they're a better value than xing motors!
I’m pretty sure the 35a isn’t much good. I moved from that to the t motor 45a and wow the difference was huge. Anyway the t motor is only £7 extra so worth it
@@gautamkrishna7421 Rev35 is 22usd shipped at Ali. I have on rig with that and it flyes great 6S 2150kv 2207 (with rpm filters). Im pretty sure it has best bang for the buck of any esc.
Hello! Does 65A means total of 65Ampere (16,2Amp per channel) or 65Amp for every channel (total of 260Amp)??? The esc supports up to 6S or 25Volt DC , wich means the Esc should manage MASSIVE 6500Watts (25Volt x 260Amp) of peak power! 260Ampere needs AWG6 tick power cables or 16mm² Can you confirm the amperage?
Sitting here getting ready to reflow some fets for 1st time. I have the 45am f3 an some f4 ones but my ? Is about the tekko32 b4 the f3.i get the info off the fets on the bottom but the fets on top have no marking just circle in upper right. So I can't find info on the fets on top
@@DroneMesh to this day im still seeing post of these escs failing. Mosfets blowing up or being desoldered. Interesting results here but it seems these meta fet escs are not reliable at all.
Bought 2 HB 65A and 2 Mamba 60Pro at the same time. Both wonderful while flying. The two Holybro are now trash: 1 got one channel of the 4 damaged, the other burst in flames, after arming. But maybe I crash too much, I dont know.
Also yes, it is worth it to get that kind of quality for that price. I have a Tekko32 35A 4in1 and before I jumped to using the 4in1s, I would get a very noisy video feed in my goggles Edit: have* and also it's still in my cheaterkwad build although I'm planning on selling it off along with the Q X7 since I'm moving on to phase two of my hobbies. Getting a TX16S and shifting my budget into ham radio
The reason to keep the circuit board separately is not to improve power delivery but to fix the previous version which would fall out of the air: github.com/bitdump/BLHeli/issues/464
Hey bro why don't you noise test the fettec 45a esc with spots on board for six caps and it's sin wave does not work like a normal esc you think the holy bro new metal is the best that esc is trash and had fets melt off if you want to know the best esc on the market test the kiss four in one it has 95 capacitors on it putting the metal to shame I guarantee it it will destroy the metal result
Wow, those look really good! I like the addition of the extra copper too. That should help the mosfets dump heat after high current moves, and help them last much longer. My one concern is the added complexity of those ceramic caps on the 65a. It clearly did wonders on keeping voltage spikes down, but it always seems like the hardness/brittle nature of the ceramic makes those caps the first things to fail on a board after a crash. I wonder if adding that many could be introducing higher likelihood of failure. Only time will tell I suppose. Thanks for the review!
Drone Mesh that’s just not true and those cases are of user error. I’m saying from a noise point of view they are second to none. Fettec is running at 128khz pwm freq for example
Fettec's onboard filtering is very minimal and nowhere close to the 65A version of Tekko32. Don't let me start talking about how they decided to use puny 3X3 QFN FETs for a 45A rated ESC.
@@Asu01 From a software perspective you cannot argue that BLheli is better no matter which way you slice it. KISS and FETTEC are more advanced and you won't see that changing on a blheli_32 platform anytime soon.
Do not get this ESC! I've purchased two and both of them pop as soon as you go to mid-throttle. They make a huge pop and fire comes out. Just go with something else like hobbywing!!

Can u review the new Kramam KM55A esc?
How about new Holybro 45A mini version?
It's not a recent one but I would be curious to know what's your opinion about the Pyro32?
What do you think about t motor ft5
Nice test. It can be very interessting to explain how you do your test. What tools do you use ? Which electrical assembly is used for the test?

Wow my dude I think I just found my go to esc and 65 amp wow I’m impressed!!! Thank you for a dope review!!
Thanks for the noise test! Do you think there is still an advantage to individual ESC, now that we have amazing results with 4-in-1 ?
Same here... i still use single esc builds and never had a problem what so ever
Looks great! But doesn't Betaflight still have a bug with the F3 ESCs at the moment?
From a practical point of view, how will this affect the feel of the quad in flight, compared to say the Mamba?
love your reviews bro. most honest and technically substantiated ones out there👌👍
I got the 45 amp, and I can say it does work with bidirectional dshot on. The previous boards, without the daughter board to prevent EMI.
