I love both, Minorca has better beaches and picturesque coves and is steeped in history with many influences throughout the centuries, Tenerife is a winter Sun destination with good entertainment and has two climates (south and north), it also has mount teide which is over 12,000 feet high and a must on a cloudy day.
We go first week of October every year and the restaurants are empty, no waiting for food, it's very quiet compared to other places ive been at that time of year

Wrong. We went in June and the start of October and it was lovely. Trust me, u hate places with too many people but if anything, it was fairly quiet
