This song, before Austin gets a hold of it, is powerful... Add his voice and style and it tenderly tears your heart out through your tears... Thank you for sharing your feels
Thank you, Red for being so real and so open as always that is why we Love you kiddo, Hugs💗💗💗💗💗#austinbrown #reaction #unchainedmelody #homefree #reactionvideo #redheadedneighbor #bestreactor #beauifulcountrygirl #beautifulheartandsoul
How he can sing like that about the loss of a child (Eric Clapton's 4 year old) is beyond me and a very moving tribute. Crying is also a mark of respect and empathy for what happened. `typing through tears myself'
Austin can just SANG!!! Having lost a child I can say this song is special. Austin is the one from all the A Capella groups that I feel could make it as a solo artist. Lovely, lovely reaction.
RED I AM SO PROUD OF YOU FOR HITTING 36K ON TO 50K BY 2025 ❤❤❤WE ABSOLUTELY ADORE YOU 💯💯#redheadedneighbor #bestreactor #redsarmy #beautifulfuncountrygirl #heartofgoldwithmetalinhersoul #bestbadjokes #36K
Don't worry about crying on camera. You didn't do any ugly crying, like I do. I truly enjoyed watching your truthful reaction to this absolutely beautiful song.
It's very obvious that this song has a deep, personal meaning to you and is bringing up memories of a loss you've experienced. May God give you the Peace you need! Thank you for going through that emotional attack with us because we felt your pain with you, so you were not alone.
The first time I heard him sing this song, he sang it with such feeling that I wondered if he had a personal experience that made it easier to put the feeling into it. Then I just realized he is just that talented. WOW!!! I cried buckets of tears the first time and still fight them.
Red, I’m a 71 year old retired oil field trucker and biker and this song always makes my eyes leak but Austin’s rendition hit me in my feels like few performances do.
Austin was very close to his grandmother who went heaven a few years ago. He wrote a beautiful song,Warmest Winter, about Christmas without her. It's a beautiful tear jerker. Tears show emotion and nothing to be ashamed of at all. Hugs Red.
Don't sweat the crying RHN! You're one of the few that are even MORE beautiful with tears... Take it from this old country boy, you really rock those overalls, too! Hugs from SW Missouri!
Austin sang this beautifully! His voice has a way of getting into one’s soul. Watching your reaction made me realize you related to this in recent times. So sorry you went through a rough period. You are a very beautiful person who showed us your heart (not the first time). I appreciate your reaction and that you decided to post your reaction anyway. I have songs that make me think of loved ones and sometimes I listen to it and sometimes I can’t at that moment. I understand. So sorry about your losses.😢
I know I'm late on giving my comment to your reaction to this performance. I am sorry for that. We share something remarkable. There's obviously something very special or someone very dear to you to make you remember what you was feeling the moment you thought this was the song you was going to react to. And this for me,I get to see the best fullest most loved reaction from you. It's very impressive. And moving. Please forgive me for making this so long. I've re-typed it now 4 times. Im overwhelmed, about how passionate you can be and not even know your doing it. I lost my 2 best friends. And yes this song played at each gathering of memory. Im a fan and subscriber for life. Wish i could jump thru this screen hold you and slow dance to this song.
This is such a great rendition of Eric Clapton's song about the tragic loss of his son. I think anyone who's ever lost a loved one can identify with it. Sebastien's keyboard skills are masterful & Austin's vocals are always terrific. His leaving HF makes me think of The Seekers song "I know I'll Never find another you".
Your reaction is beautiful & very, very human. It is a wonderful song written by a great artist (Eric Clapton) about a very tragic event. Performed magnificently by Austin. Thank you for your raw & very moving reaction. Don't read too much into this, but in a short time yours has become my favourite Reactive Channel.
This is the one solo that I cannot let myself hear too often -- it defeats my state of denial and brings me down. But once in a while I indulge, because Austin's voice is so beautiful that, with effort, I can concentrate on the notes and not the lyrics or the mood. It's good when it is shared with good reactors. Thank you.
Red, it is the artists that you choose to share with your viewers that create the quality of your reactions, and when you found the members of Home Free and their associates to share your reactions, you have chosen the best of the best!
We can be thankful that Austin remained with Home Free as long as he did and hopefully he will continue to give us beautiful music like this as a solo artist and the guys from Home Free will find a great new member to join them and Home Free will have a new era and continue with their magic.
It will happen. It is always difficult when change happens with your favorite groups, but I trust the guys to make great choices. They always have before.
Last year I lost my mom the day before Mother's Day to cancer. It took me awhile before I could face HF's Go Rest High on That Mountain again. Watching your reaction and feeling Austin's intensity in this song brought back those precious beautiful memories and feelings. Thank you for sharing your journey. Big hugs!
Please never apologize for shedding tears. I'm a 40 year old man, and when music like this hits your soul, it's such a natural reaction. The beauty of music is that it can touch places you never knew. Blessings!
Gosh, that hit hard. A gorgeous song, a perfect interpretation and such a pure, honest reaction to it. Just wanna give you a big hug. And needless to say, the world needs more empaths like you. It would be a better place. Thank you so much for sharing those heartfelt moments with us. With love from Germany, Prog O'Holic
It isn't happening immediately, and it is very amicable. Some of us sorta saw it coming. He has been stretching his wings, and we could see he was ready to "leave the nest" and strike out on his own solo career. We are excited and hope he is a great success.
Thanks for reacting honestly to this song, and for being open with us - I understand, as I lost my soulmate to Covid nearly 4 years ago now... Sending you hugs from the UK! 🫂❤ If you want something different for a feel-good song, I recommend ELO (Electric Light Orchestra) - Mr. Blue Sky!!
I think Austin did a very nice version of this song. But I really like Eric Clapton's unplugged version of this song with a little bit faster pace. And it is a more personal song for him with the history behind it after losing a child.
You have us you can lean on now, I hope you know that. I lost my last parent 7 months ago and I still have bad days. Especially helping my son cope with it.
And Austin just announced he was leaving Home Free after the 2024 concert tour.
This is almost as huge as Avi leaving Pentatonix almost 7 years ago.

I'm glad it's after 2024, I am going to see them in April. 😊

Emotionally beautiful.
Don't feel bad about showing your emotions it shows your inner beauty.👍👍❤️
Thank you!
Never be ashamed of showing emotions. Hey at least your still beautiful when you cry :)
its a touching song, no matter who sings it.
Cheerz!!!!!
Austin does a great job on one of my favorite songs by Eric Clapton. I need this kind of music to sooth my soul.
I think Austin did a beautiful job.

👍
Thank you, I will
Wrap you arms around yourself and squeeze, that is a hug from an old man who feels your tears!
He really knows how to bring out the emotion in what he sings.
That was the most beautiful "ugly cry" I have ever seen. May God continue to heal you spirit. ❤🌹
