While I'm of the mindset that Marionette is underwhelming, the thought of adding it to TB is top tier. Playing an entire game, knowing you're good, then getting star passed to by the imp.... insane play.
Avery is probably my favorite and one of the most entertaining people from the games on this channel. It would be amazing if she could get a guest appearance on the no rolls barred games, i think that would lead to some fantastic content
@@karlovisttimes8271 wait what??? Is it one of the early ones, before i discovered this channel? Because i definitely don't remember that and i'm pretty sure i watched all of em. Anyways, this is a happy surprise and i am gonna (re)watch that episode
Spoilers: That was some furious butler-ing; I can only assume Ben is horrible at the job because he was constantly switching masters. Getting fired everywhere before finally settling on being the butler for a dead body.
I think my favourite mid-2000s one-hit wonder has to be "Stacy's Mom" by Fountains of Wayne, because I like The Cars, and this is basically FoW doing The Cars, and it introduced me to FoW, who have awesome music.
I've noticed every single game, at least once a game but usually multiple times, the first person they nominate in a day is evil but because it's the first nomination no one votes or they get just enough only for it get beaten later in the day. Not a useful observation just a funny one
K0T4 is my new favorite AI. Jokes aside, you're amazing Avery! Don't know if this counts since it was 2004, but I'm going to vote "Dragostea din tei". (To be fair, "Stacy's Mom" is 2003.) Other votes for "Here It Goes Again" (2006), "Miss Murder" (2006), uh..."B.Y.O.B." is 2005, but I honestly liked "Question!" a lot more on that album..."B.Y.O.B." just exploded in popularity. I guess one hit wonders often go that way.
Is there some sort of unwritten rule that you will be in a role swap with the first person you exchanged hard claims with? How does Ben make sure he's not double claiming Patters?
It basically says there's a Butler claim and a Librarian claim. Either people call him out on it and they both get info or they believe him and know he is expendable.
Why didn't they have Emily just nominate Alejo ( instead of Ben nominating Emily first)? That would have confirmed either both of them as good townsfolk or confirmed at least one of them as evil / drunk, but no one suggested it. Also I feel like not claiming mayor earlier basically guarantees no one believes you later. If they did a virgin test early (Alejo could've come out earlier as well), that would've cleared up a lot.
Idk if she was bad yet but Jamie's defense of those who know who I am know why I don't want to die won't. All live players vote. She didn't even pretend to out herself when trying to pass it to Ben lol
'Top 4' refers to the first 4 characters on the Trouble Brewing character sheet (Washerwoman, Librarian, Investigator, Chef). They all wake on night 1 and have info to start the game with, so they're generally seen as logical conversation starters.
Marionette doesn't know he's evil and gets a good token. He just can be told by the demon he's a Mari o nette but there's only 2 actual red tokens in a marionette game
The official ruling is "if you sincerely believe your master is voting, you may vote as well." Some STs like to clarify that into "if your master's hand is up, you may raise your hand as well." But human beings being the dumb apes they are, will sometimes not be paying attention or make some sort of mistake, and because the Butler shouldn't be able to self-confirm, STs have to just roll with it.
This is partly why the butler is my least favourite character in its current form. The consequences are woolly. I think it should say something like “if you vote when your picked player did not vote you immediately die”, to make it actually counter-productive for the town as an outsider (losing a good player if you’re not paying attention or completely certain your pick will vote). At the moment it’s just “considered cheating” which is usually just because of innocent mistakes like this, which has no negative effect, it’s a pointless role
“You f-ing muppet” A frustrated term of endearment… also, a nice coded way of telling a person that they are the Marionette
Timestamp?
1:28:46 in whispers
1:08:00 "So just to clarify Emily, the two people you haven't lied to are Jacqui and Ekin" made me crack up so hard xD
I, for one, welcome our new Robot Storytellers. All hail Ko-Ta.

Absolutely love the introduction of A.I.very as our new robo-ST.
I love how Avery interacts with chat from time to time

It’s actually a useful observation, and I’ve noticed the same
Ben you can setup your system with more than one camera. And thus will be able to use a camera on the game as well as other programs.
K0T4 is my new favorite AI.

"Here It Goes Again" deserves a special mention since it started the trend of viral music / music videos online, as I heard
@@sofiipote7 I loved the song before I saw the music video, then I loved it more. Haha.

Hey Night Two's Link In The Description Is Broken And Needs To Be Fixed (Only One : Instead Of Two)
I find Avery a bit frustrating to follow as storyteller because they mute themselves so quickly that they cut off their own sentences
Wait, why are there only two evil at the end?

17:02 is what ben did here acceptable as butler? Not accusing, just genuinely curious...
Ben didn't notice master lowered their hand, he explains like 20 secs later
He was poisoned, so it was fine, don't worry
