I deliver for DoorDash and I get 1-5 orders every morning I work my main gig (overnight shift). Always busy moms and they generally tip good and certainly appreciate they service.
Great video I appreciate the help. Also I would like to add, customers must understand that the associate are on a time table and are graded on how fast they serve the customers. There are customers that comes in the store and Shop while they just checked in on the app making the system think that the customer service is bad being that it is showing that the customers has been waiting 15/20 min and sometimes over an hour when the customer is not even outside with their car to pick up the groceries being that they accidentally checked in or they're just inside the store shopping. So help the associates out by checking in when you actually going to pick up your groceries. Also the associates are not allowed to take any gratuity, they depend on surveys to help get them quarterly bonus, so let's get the associate some good surveys of course if the service is good.
I always used to help but sometimes I feel like I get in the way 😆 At ours,you aren't supposed to tip. They could get in trouble. You leave a review in your surveys. I wonder if that makes a difference at all. I hope it does!!!

I have used this service about five or six times. I love it - it's a real time saver and extremely convenient to shop from my sofa! (No impulse buys.) Have only had two substitutions and was able to decide if I want to keep them or not. Both times they were more expensive substitutions but I was not charged the difference! The help is fast an efficient - they load your car and will not accept a tip! The first time I used the service I got an extra goodie bag as a thank you (candy, Purell, instant oatmeal, etc.) I love it.
Btw. When you check in ALL of our devices go off letting us know your own your way and your ETA anything over 10 min will show It as longer then 10 but not show exactly how long meaning your order will be taken apart and will need to be reassembled We don’t check the totes unless we do quality checks. When we scan in the totes (orange stickers) it shows us what we need and where but we don’t physically check and make sure everything is in there. ALWAYS mark your substitutions. When we scan the tote it shows what needs to be removed before we can proceed speeding up your leaving g and keep our metrics up. Never call the number unless you have an issue or you are actually there to check in. We don’t care if you are 5 min away. We will laugh at how stupid you are and then you will have to call again to actually check in. Any wait times over 3 minutes is bad for us and is considered to be bad by Walmart. Surveys. We get yelled at for not getting 10 a day. We have over 200 orders daily. No one freaking does them. Leave a survey with a glowing review Always please. Unless something was actually wrong. We never have wait times unless there was an ACTUAL issue that’s out of our control. Be mindful of that and nice to us. We are in the hot sun almost all day loading heavy items like water for you. We run around the store all day grabbing your items while our handhelds beep at us to hurry up. Be nice and kind. Edit: I’m an actual OGP/ODP associate. We get treated like crap every day when we are trying our best. I go home every day to not really be able to walk and just in a lot of pain. But it’s good money.

I use this service weekly & love it. I even picked up an order on memorial day & they gave me a flag & cupcake with my order! Its awesome. They do not allow tipping ( which stinks for the worker/ but they will refuse it if you try).
I used in Laurens SC. I checked in and they waited on 2 people after I had already gotten there! After approx 20 minutes I left and called and told them just to put it back on the shelf! I got home and checked my account and it said, "picked up"! I never got anything! So I had to call back and get a refund! Terrible waste of time in my experience!
I tried this today to pick up later, you didn't even have to sign a screen or show a card, brilliant. I have used pick up at my Giant Eagle store, and they charge $4.95 for the service, and the inventory does not include alot of the lower priced items. They had a problem with their credit card processor, so I ordered from walmart. At giant eagle the total was $77.90, for the same stuff, plus a couple add ons, walmart was $63.00! Additionally, my wife has been working out of town alot, so she takes the card with her, so to pay on line has been a life saver!!

I live out in the sticks, so the closest Walmart/Grocery Store to me is about a 1 1/2 hour drive; my bi-weekly grocery trip usually lasts a whole day with a $200-400 pricetag including gas. With this service, I can do all my grocery shopping in only 3 hours so I don't have to wait for a day off work. I only hope they offer delivery soon.
Trying this today. Placed the order and checked out last night on my pc. This morning I checked the app and there was no check in button on my app. I called to check on it and I guess the blue check in button does not appear until your order has been picked and ready for pickup. Just thought i would put that out there for other newbies.

We have coupons with 50% off. You have to sign up in order to put all items you want to buy. After than we are going to process your order and you need to go to our office to pick up your items. When you have all items in your house. You have to pay but remember you have 50% off. If your order is 400$ you have to pay 200$

It said “choose other options” - none were available. Next, it’s Saturday and my delivery window is from 9:00 am - 1:00 pm - that’s a pretty large window. At 12:50, I get a message that my order is running late. It shows the driver had 7 more stops - and I ordered some frozen items. I wonder how that’s going to work out? I won’t be using this service again - what a mess! Now, I still need to go to the store to get strawberries and blueberries.

Hi, Just an FYI..I just added and checked into the regular Walmart app and it doesn't have the "Savings Catcher" feature to it any longer. It also now has the grocery shop added to just this app as well.
I just learned that when you use the app to let them know you are on your way you can view the subs ahead of time and deny before you get there! 🤯 also, when you check out you can just say no subs and then they won’t even try to sub. I is ally hate subs too!

Why I keep ordering some groceries at Walmart Online that’s marked “pickup in-store only” and they never notify me for pickup, just that it’s delivered and then only get email that it’s “processing a Refund”😒… it also stated with my confirmation number that they hold for up to 4days when in fact it wasn’t even 12hrs from ordering to refund! 🙅🏻♀️ Am I missing something? 🤔 By the way order made regular Walmart(.com) and not Walmart groceries.

The Walmart grocery app has a Shop by Department section and it allows you to add non-grocery items. Maybe that part of the app will let you get other stuff you are looking for besides groceries.
Last two times I did this I sat in my car for over an HOUR for them to try and find and load my groceries. The second time I was kicking myself, but I wanted to make sure the first time wasn't a fluke. Horrible! Try sitting in a car for an hour with an impatient child, PMS, starving and needing to pee. Not fun! LOL Never again. ha ha

It's been available at our store since it first rolled out, which is a long time. Not sure what was going on that month, but I stayed away from it like the plague! LOL! Yes they have lots (not all) departments on the grocery app. Example: you can get party supplies not furniture.

Oh no!!! I would be so mad too if that was my experience! I’ve never had experienced that! Maybe we that location doesn’t have it together yet?!
Remember theres some areas that are still new to grocery pick up. Some are understaffed, its not the employee who is taking you order out fault.
And also we get about 90 grocery orders a day and over 4,000 items to pick from, and average person picks 80 items per hour.
@@renlarez4919 I totally agree and I was very nice to the girl who loaded up my car. I understand things happen and I would never take it out on an employee. It's been available at our store since it first rolled out, which is a long time. Not sure what was going on that month, but I stayed away from it like the plague! LOL! I did try it again last week and it took 7 whole minutes to get my groceries. So I must have just have had a bad luck streak there.
What if i wanted to order an wireless earbud, it says that it costs $29.99 if i order it, but if i want to buy ut from store, its $49.99
