There are so many country songs that are helping me right now, in rehab, sober for 25 days now, and alone, left a 9 year relationship because of addiction. But all I can do...and hope things just get better for me. Finding myself again after the struggle of addiction and being abused, when I know I am beautiful, loving, fun, smart- basically just forgot all these things....

Stop the drugs...I smoked cigarettes for 20 years and I just quit...bec im HIV positive and if I didnt it would kill me...so point is a drug habit is not that hard to quit some of us like HIV positive people are fighting to stay alive and just see there kids grow...so stop the drugs...relax and keep in mind some things and some people have it really hard...

It takes a lot of inner strength and accountability, self respect and respect for them to take responsibility for your wrong doings. If they don’t come back. So relax and love life , you never know when things might change. If not, years later it may happen. But until then he happy and don’t cry to often !!!!!

Paint yall a picture of a pure time, .. my youngest son was maybe 5 yr old when he lost his 1st puppy, when he learned that she had died he ran to his room, hid behind the dresser, rolled up blue jeans, no shirt, cowboy hat on, hold his guitar singing this song as loud as possible with the biggest tears he could possibly shed.. it tore my heart to see him that way
Where did that place and time go? Now I only see that world in my dreams. A place where we could get whatever we wanted if we were willing to work hard enough to get it and where women were happy being #2 and appealing to men, where nobody was afraid to call you out if u were acting like a sissy and where u didn't go online to apply for a job but rather u showed the boss how much more u wanted the job than the next guy and where white people could get along w others without first tying themselves to a whipping post. Then I wake back up in Bizzaro world.... and, hell, I can't change.

Jared House I am not talking about people who are unhappy in relationships. Read clearly. I was talking about people who aren't privileged enough to have a relationship. Man or woman, it isn't fun being alone. Some people fight and sacrifice just to get their first date and can't get it while others barley fight at all. They just get love and affection handed to them. Or maybe it simply boils down to it just isn't meant to be. I don't know. All I know is that feeling unloved and unwanted is devastating. People in unhappy relationships don't know what that's like so they should be grateful because there are people who would trade places with them in a heartbeat. Its very easy to say you don't need anyone when you don't know what its like to have never had anyone. To have never kissed or hugged anyone. To have never been in a relationship at all.

Ive had a toxic telationship. I pushed my family and friends away not realizing she was bad for me. She didnt like to do things i liked to do all we did was what she wanted. I figured it out and now if i have another one like that, I know im better off alone, i dont need that in my life. Wasting time with someone who doesnt apreciate you isnt worth it. Im not gonna change who i am for someone who doesnt apreciate me for me.
Jared House Well when I say sacrifice I meant more like putting yourself out there and working up the nerve just to talk to someone. It is a sacrifice because its always a risk approaching someone who may not like you. You potentially sacrifice your mental emotional health when you open yourself to that kind of pain and rejection. Your relationship may have been toxic but some people don't know what it's like to have a relationship at all and I am one of them and I myself along with others I am guessing probably would trade places with you in a heartbeat just to have one person be affectionate towards them, even if it's just friendship, but then again you never know if the grass is greener on the other side. All i know is I sacrifice by putting myself out there. I fight and sacrifice only to never even had a girlfriend while other people, men and women, don't seem to fight at all. It just happens so easily for them it seems.

It still blows my mind how country singers make great deep tracks like this starting out and then after the money and the record deals are secured make generic shallow songs that don’t even make you think. Wish Aldean could get back to making music like this

Well, i have a different story. I tried hard to stop her. I risked my well being and my future twice. The first time, she ended up punching me in the face because i showed up at the guys house that she was cheating on me with (and eventually left me for him) and he started "man-handling" me that same night...so i left before he tried to beat me up cuz he was grabbing me and shoving me. Then a few weeks later I was visiting her at her work and that peckerhead was driving by to see if i was still coming around her, and he waited till i pulled out and came after me we ended up playing bumper cars until i stopped and got out of my car and ran after him with a pipe wrench, then he left like a pussy and i ended it right then and there, the bitch wasnt worth it. i dont know why i still love her, she was horrible to me.

well it's been 10 months, care to give us an update? break ups are rough there is no doubt about it. I remember me and Jenny Wallace split up and I thought my world was gonna end. I was so torn up inside... but as life always happens I got thru the summer and we ended going to different elementary schools and before u know it I met Samantha Franklin. she really helped me get over jenny that year...
