Taylor only wrote this song in reply to all the media talking about how many men she had dated, in reality, men would have dated 3 times as many in the same time period, quite a few years. So this is her clap back at the media. You are one of the few reactors to have said something about the horses in the bedroom, not very common to have horses in one's bedroom, so funny.

This music video and song is satire and not an actual portrayal of taylor - she's basically personified all the rumours and exaggeration the media had about her as a 'serial dater' and decided to have some fun with it but in reality she isn't like this. It's her taking all the criticism and using it to her advantage because she's an incredible artist who knows how to have a bit of fun.

This was the best reaction to this MV I've watched 😆. Even though this is based on a persona the media created about her, it is toxic but its so catchy! It's one of those turn it all the way up and sing at the top of your lungs in the car songs lol. I would say Wildest Dreams, Style, Out Of The Woods, I Did Something Bad are all good ones to do if you haven't done them already.

This song is a comedy. Taylor has an amazing sense of humor. She is pretending to be the woman that the media makes her out to be: Toxic. The media is all, "Taylor has too many boyfriends, Taylor writes songs about her exes, Taylor is crazy." So she said, "Okay, what if I was like that? Here's a song about it." But she isn't really like that! She's been with Joe Alwyn for six years, she's friends with her ex Harry Styles (who wrote two songs about her), she's cool. Taylor's fans are called Swifties lol, not swifters (made me think of the Swiffer wet jet) 🤣🤣 but yes please do more Taylor reactions, she's a true artist (an artist's artist), amazing all around from singing, writing, acting, directing she does it all effortlessly and yes the best story teller. I have a request, something a little different, New Romantics, it is not a regular MV, but a montage of her performances from concerts with the song. It is so good. I love the word play that you can discover even after your 20th listen. Small things like, “I can make all the tables turn”. There are three levels to that one. The one in the story itself, like she’s turning the tables on her boyfriend. The jab at the media portrayal of her- she’s taking the things they say about her, turning it into art and throwing it back in their face. Finally, she’s saying she can make the “tables turn” with her music (like record player turn tables). It’s so clever and I love her for it.
