@@Juno_Beach A lot of people have received badly machined factory barrels. Taurus drags it’s feet getting these problems resolved, often requiring the owners to send their entire gun back and pay for shipping; sometimes taking months to resolve. It would be easier just to put the money towards something good and get it fixed in a timely manner.
This is unrelated to this video but just the idea to tandemkross in general. Why don't you make an all aluminum alloy lower for the Ruger 57. I don't think anyone would care that it gave it extra weight I just think that would just be super badass and have a high cool Factor. Just an idea I for one would think that would be cool to get. My other idea which is much more doable would be to offer a a slightly lighter recoil spring and guide rod assembly for the 57 so you would have a wider array of red dots that you could use with that pistol. That would be truly awesome because almost all the main gun makers even Ruger on other models offer slightly different variances you can get their recoil springs in just like even guns like really old stuff like a CZ 82 wolf Springs makes a different rated recoil springs for a gun like that it's just something that isn't so weird that the 57 should be excluded. It would allow you to put a slightly heavier red.dot.on like I said it would just be a neat feature so you could have more to nobility of that gun to each individual. I do have the tandemkross victory trigger from I-57 and Lovett and have even slightly modified not the trigger bar or any of the fire-control system but I just did a little extra thing with the set screw by incorporating a really small spring that threads onto the back of the set screw and it gives you this tactel feel of just like half a millimeter before you know the triggers going to break and fall so it even gives you more control in this taktl feel where you know you're at that point that if you pull that trigger another half millimeter further it's going to drop so you can get real precise trigger settings even more so than how it comes not to take anything away from tandemkross is design it's brilliant. I wish I could attach a picture to these comments so I could give anyone that's reading this a visualization of what I'm talking about that I did it's really nothing rocket science like at all but it gives a whole different personality and purchase to that trigger even more so than the tandemkross change itself which is incredible. So that's my run-on sentence about the Ruger 57
That's ok might by another tx22 for iron sight. Did my first steel competition and got sub 3 a few times with the tandemized competition. Thanks again.
My TX22 is so bad I hate shooting it. Constant failures with different ammo. Taurus says it's fine and it passed their "32 round" test. lol Might try this rod and see if it helps.
Been looking at new springs for this firearm Will have to go with TK All the stuff I have bought from u guys has never let me down. Any discount codes for the holidays?
If someone need to find out if you had problems with your guide rod the fact that it does not release the it does not go all the way forward he stays back about a 16th and that can create a problem and you give me some ideals on what’s causing that and I’ve spoken with probably hundreds of others and they said they’ve had the same problem
I just bought the spring. And i notice something that isnt good. The spring doesnt rack the slide all the way to the front. This will cause light primer strikes if the slide doesnt close all the way. I also noticed that the bigger spring sometimes goes over the front of the washer you placed so that it stays in place. Also the buffer on the back of the next to the other washer is protruding a bit bigger so it hitting the barrel(now i dont think that could create a problem. But my thoughts is friction against the slide). Tell you the truth i kinda wish i didnt buy this i maybe should've waited until we got field results. I also wish you made this aluminum instead of stainless for keeping the gun light. I may be contacting you guys here soon. Im sorry for this a a negative but i want this gun function 100%. So far i bought your extractor and your guy's trigger. have to admit its a nice trigger. But you got to drill out the hole deeper where the screw goes on the side of the trigger to sit flush. Otherwise your going to have hang ups possibly when pulling the trigger. I know that the trigger isnt going in the frame but its more aesthetically pleasing. Other than these cons you guys do a great job are parts. I just hope you guys rework this spring a bit more. Why didnt you just use a o ring? That would've been more flushed. Why not a bigger washer for the front? Or a crimping down of the front of the spring? Why not milled the rod so that it got the proper lock in the cycle? I think its about 3 thousandth of a inch. Anyways ill contact you guys later. Im kinda saddened.
@@infinity8x3 this is what i didd before sending it back. since i know the buffer rubber was a bit too wide. and to be quite honest a bit sloppy from whats out there. so what i decided to do is go to the hardware store and looked for a rubber o-ring. find something that similar but look for something that's a little bigger. push the springs and the washer down to remove the buffer rubber and replace it with the o-ring. when putting the slide on make sure you dont have the problem that i mentioned. when seeking for a o-ring. in your a machinenist bigger means to me 1-2 thousandths from what was given as lease 2 thousandth. just make sure it stops the non racking is really the target. just keep testing in the store if its legal.

For instance on their Ruger SR22 aluminum takedown lever they claim it replaces the factory plastic part but the factory part is anodized aluminum; completely misleading and unnecessary.
ohhhhhhhh my fuckiing god. i would drool over an aftermarket barrel. something really sweet and a ported slide to make it look asthetically sweet looking. i am picking up my tx 22 this weekend and i already plan to get the revised guide rod and trigger plus the compensator. i am truly excited. cant wait
I like the comparison with all the different ammos -- that helps to answer a lot of questions
Glad we were able to show the results such an easy part swap can make!
You have no idea how long I’ve been waiting for this part!!!
It's HERE!
Factory TX LEGIT NEEDS THIS!!
Taurus modified the rod last year
Awesome. Also have a Happy Christmas !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just added a red dot and mount and I'm having some fail to cycle. Definitely gonna have to pick this up.
Did the TK guide rod fix your cycling issues? My TX22 was flawless but after adding an optic I am having FTEs. Any suggestions?

This is for the standard TX22. Unfortunately it will not fit the competition model.

I love keeping a competition with optic and a standard slide with irons. The swap is so quick and you can use the same lower and parts. I love it.
