  • Quite simple if you already own a drill press. Although I'm sure a hand drill would work as well. Full disclosure, I've never tired the press mounted solutions (Primer Pocket Swage Tool). However this method works just fine for me.

    Looks like you reamed the flash hole. Good idea, but I would look for a bit that won't open that up.

      I'm not too sure. It was just a standard wood screw countersink that I got lying around

    Kind of a haphazard method. Better would be to trim the cases, then use the adjustments on the drill press to stop at a specific depth on the case set on the table. Holding it by hand is pointless. "Feel" is very inconsistent.
