- In this episode of the route learning series, we take a look at the Armstrong Powerhouse/Waggonz Class 315. We take a journey along the full length of the electric lines from London Liverpool Street to Shenfield, calling at all stations along the way. Stops include Stratford, Maryland, Forest Gate, Manor Park, Ilford, Seven Kings, Goodmayes, Chadwell Heath, Romford, Gidea Park, Harold Wood, Brentwood, and Shenfield.

Love the 315s/317s, they ride the tracks unlike any other train in my opinion will be sad to see them go, I use them alot on the London Overground between Liverpool Street and chingford :) loving the videos keep it up!!

Fun fact for you all, when my old man and his mate worked at Liverpool Street fault control (now based at Romford) they used to fix points failures in that tunnel whilst trains ran in front and behind them, leaving little to no room!

If the game ever does an up to date route with the turnback at Chad Heath and the crossover at Brentwood and the new points installed at Shenfield, I did all of those! Two and a half years on that project before joining LU!
Peter, it's great to see you back. I always enjoy your vids but, sadly, these two new ones are very dark which considerably reduces my pleasure of watching. I've checked some of your 'old' ones and they're absolutely fine.
Hi Richard. I understand the video brightness might be slightly affected by the recording software I've been using recently, as the old software seems to have stopped working on my computer. What do you need for the class 315 scenarios to work? I have the Armstrong Powerhouse class 321 and the standard/career scenarios don't work, what are the requirements for these to work?
My local station is maryland and i still take the train to get to stratford 😂😂

I’d assume the speedometer goes round and back during the test to make sure that the needle isn’t stuck and that it’s going to display your speed accurately
Yes, it's sort of a test when setting up the train.
How can it be possible that different trains runs on one route? Because I see often the same train on one route, but there are more. Do you have fix this with World Editor?

do you need any existing dlcs to buy the pack?
before recording the video, during your practices, did you ever get an issue with the emergency brakes applying just after Gidea Park Station? I have been trying the scenario and can get to Gidea Park without an issue but trying to leave I cannot get higher then 6 mph before the emergency brakes kick in. I've tried to reset them and even tried to shut everything down then restart it on the train but still no joy.
Enjoyed the video. I live at Romford and miss the 315s. They improved massively after transfer to TFL
Your comments about the 4 and 8 car stops, is this because th Station exit is at the rear of the train, so they want the rear of the train aligned accordingly?
Also, the London boundary is near enough at the M25 flyover, well beyond Harold Wood Station.

At 19:12, during the exterior shot of the train at Manor Park, you can see a man in a dark suit walking around on the platform in a circle on the right hand side of the screen.

How do you download things from Armstrong Powerhouse? As I really want to get the products from them.
HA Level Crossings And Trains you sort of pay, go to the download page, click download, extract the .exe, run the .exe, Download the extra Stock from purchase page, extract & run that .exe and finally download the branding patch from purchase page, extract & run that .exe

Great work as always. Did you manage to get to Shenfield on time? I find it impossible in this scenario.
Think I was possible one or two minutes late. It’s almost impossible to achieve!
Stan Butler well, being late on this line would be realistic enough because in real life this train is always behind schedule.
PTG rail do you have the TFL rail livery for the class 315?
TFL Rail liveries are included with the pack but lack branding.

The route is by DTG and can be brought on steam.
Hi there!
I'm wondering if you could perhaps offer me a little advice on a major issue I've been encountering with the simulator recently.
Ever since around January time (the game ran very smoothly before this), every time I load the game, it simply goes to a black screen and returns to the steam library with a dump crash, meaning I am unable to even start the game. This is quite concerning for me as I enjoy playing this game and have spent countless hours and money into playing and purchasing DLC for the simulator. I have tried everything I can think of to fix this (updating graphics drivers, clearing cache, deleting workshop content, even factory resetting my whole system) all to no avail and am wondering if you or in fact any of the people reading the comments may have some knowledge with regards of how to rectify this issue and finally sort this problem that has been preventing my enjoyment of the simulator for practically the whole of 2018.

Unfortunately this isn’t a problem I’ve encountered, so I’m not sure what the fix could be. Have you tried contacting DTG support? If I do hear of any fixes, I’ll be sure to let you know.

PTGRail but when you create the scenario how do you the real headcodes to make it based on the realistic timetable?

LCtrains It has to be scripted into the scenario

Does this train come with the Tfl Rail livery?
Not branded, unfortunately.

In this case, it appears the scenario was set during Greater Anglia days with the GA branding on the units.

The reason for those horrible frame rates is Dovetail Games not giving a $hit about their customers. They simply couldn't be bothered to update the TS game engine to 64 bit and to fully make use of today's computers resources. So basically TS never uses more than 10% of your rig's resources no matter how beefy it may be, which is a damn shame. Because of that I stopped giving them any more money until they will update their engine.
