As always, I really love how it turned out! I didn't realise base game had some items that worked that well in Sulani
Thank you so much Celine! I totally agree, I was surprised a lot of the living room content worked so well, even the lovely pergola that was hiding in the catalog! 😀
Pretty sure that the "bathroom" that only had the shower is technically one of those "rinse showers" that you find at the beach or waterpark meant only to get salt, sand, or chlorine off because you don't put shower supplies in them. I know when I stayed at the beach you'd find them under the houses where you park vehicles then use hidden stairs to enter into the house above.
Yeah, that's a great point Cora! I thought about that too but unfortunately wasn't sure when I was renovating. It would be nice if the Sims had a moodlet like 'Feeling Salty' that prompted them to rinse off after the ocean or a day at the beach. That would have given some fun gameplay to Island Living and the outdoor showers!
@@TownieSimBuilds It really would because we were given outdoor showers several times and in past games too, but at least in 3 if you placed gym showers or outdoor ones the sims shower in their swimming gear.
@@corabeani I think the showers in the Sims 4 onsens function as they should. We definitely need more like those with a little bit more gameplay involved!
@@TownieSimBuilds I feel like there should be a show made for children getting into the tub since they take toys in there and splash all the water out. I'm thinking more detail than the bubble bath option where sims magically find a rubber duck to play with. For kids they should magically take toys/toys in their inventory appear in the bath and see the toys on the floor around the tub in a puddle. For teens and adults maybe they take a relaxing bath and take a book or "juice" with them.
For the shower I think singing and dancing is common, but so is soaping up their hair so maybe little joke hairstyles appear like a mohawk.
@@corabeani Those are awesome ideas Cora! We definitely need more details and interactions like these, much more akin to what we had in The Sims 2 and 3.

The problem is that bathroom surrounded by windows on the deck, was specifically made for that reason. It was made for you to shower when you come in from the ocean or sand. That's why there were two windows with a crossbreeze. And that's why the island living shower was there because sims don't get embarrassed in front of other sims while using it.
Hi Jessica! Yes, another viewer mentioned that as well. Do you know if the game has a functionality to rinse off before entering a house after using the beach/ocean/pool?
