So sorry for missing the live. We have Christmas 🎄 eve breakfast every year. Love your steampunk butterfly 🦋! Merry Christmas to you and yours. Hugs and blessings
I also missed the live! Darn it! I love seeing your Christmas memories. We do stockings at my house. I have 2 boys and both have wife’s and one sweet grandson. They all look forward to the stockings. On Thanksgiving, my husband suggested we only do for the little kids and the room went silent!!!
Hi Darcy, unfortunately I didn't get to see the whole livestream! I watch RUclips on my phone as I don't have a computer and my smart t.v. doesn't have internet service. So sometimes I actually have to use my phone as an actual phone😢😅 I watched the replay and absolutely loved hearing about your family traditions! We always had stocking and they were always filled with socks and hygiene items and usually fruit and some type of candy hanging out the top. I carried the traditions over to my child and started the tradition of buying a new ornament for the tree for each child every year and putting their name and the year on the back. Now, we don't always do those. Because of my health, the last couple of years we've had a little tabletop miniature tree and the ornaments are earrings that my Momma made when she was alive and had not given away. I use her beads and stuff all the time in my art. I hope you're having a wonderful Christmas 🎄
Hi Darcy - I was out having xmas dinner with family, it's 6 hours later here so Santa came and went. Got many art supplies. I was laughing watching you make the butterfly but in the end.... very nice and a lot of fun. Merry Christmas Sweety.
I’m a retired Hospice Social Worker. I completely understand you wanting grandma to be on hospice. It’s about quality and the best care, even if you don’t live as long. 💕
@HeelK9 thanks for understanding. My grandpa was in hospice for 13 months and my gram (dad's mom who is 95 now) volunteered with hospice until it was just too hard to do so.
@ ah, that’s very sweet that gram volunteered for a while. We would usually have family members/ friends wait several months to a year to become more comfortable with their own grief before volunteering, but then they come back and help others going through the same thing they went through; they really understand what the patient and their families are going through.
We still fill up Christmas stockings. It is great to hear and see you documenting holiday tradition. ❤
