This is a beautiful piece of furniture. Your use of the darker, contrasting strips of wood is very nice -- a small seat does not have to be a plain (uninteresting) seat. You have made it visually appealing and well crafted.

Great craftmanship. I am curious to know what blade you have in your table saw it looks thinner than the stock dewalt one, I tried a thinner one it was loose on the arbour?
Hello TopGum. The circular saw blade I use is my favorite Makita 216mm-30T. The standard dewalt blade has been professionally sharpened and is now in my drawer. Tachi.
@@TachiOhyo56 I think I worked it out, the Makita is only 1.6mm thick my present Fraud is 1.8 I tried a 1.2mm and it flopped about, so I should be able to tighten a 1.6 enough. I'm going to give the Makita a go next time I need a new one. Maybe I will get as good as you 😀

Great craftmanship. I am curious to know what blade you have in your table saw it looks thinner than the stock dewalt one, I tried a thinner one it was loose on the arbour?

The circular saw blade I use is my favorite Makita 216mm-30T.
The standard dewalt blade has been professionally sharpened and is now in my drawer.

@@TachiOhyo56 I think I worked it out, the Makita is only 1.6mm thick my present Fraud is 1.8 I tried a 1.2mm and it flopped about, so I should be able to tighten a 1.6 enough. I'm going to give the Makita a go next time I need a new one. Maybe I will get as good as you 😀

@@TachiOhyo56 here's an idea for you.... Do a Japanese toolbox or keepsake box. The kind that uses a locking wedge on top. Or get into joinery and show some mortise and tenon or dovetail projects.
