Jeremy Soule better get the recognition he deserves someday. 20 years from now, when video game music is appreciated as much as film music, his name will be in the same discussions as Zimmer, Williams, and Newton Howard.
Within the channels of gaming composers, Soule is a superhero. My boyfriend does composition and Soule is well-respected in the community. They get stars in their eyes when they mention him
This one started playing when i first began running trough the fields of Queensdale, watching all around me to horizons, it really gave me a kinda feeling of, "Welcome to a bright new world, let your epic adventures begin! " :)
One of my favorite songs! I first heard this when I was out running around in Queensland and I had to stop and listen. Its one of those songs that makes you feel like your on an epic journey through and endless world!
Went out to mow the yard the other day on a sunny, beautiful morning. Hopped on the mower and hit random on my playlist and this was the first song to play. Perfection.
I thought there was plenty of magic in it. Like when you're exploring a map and all of a sudden you find a jump puzzle hidden in the bushes. Or when you start a small single event to help a citizen and all of a sudden you're fighting a huge boss with 50 other people.
I just remember that in the french version of GW2 (because I'm french lol), Logan's voice actor is the same guy who dub Spartacus is the series and also Thor..... Epic voice for epic character !
I was in the Harathi Highlands helping the Seraph take Tamini camps. I was soloing it just fine but it was getting harder to tank mobs. Two people joined in and we started ripping through them. Towards the end, it was a group of 6 and we were somewhat getting wrecked by the Champion War Beasts. We killed them though and then Ulgoth showed up as well as 20 other people. In the end, Ulgoth died and victory music played. That is how adventures should work. It was the best one I ever had.
Holy Bejeezus, heard this in game, but usually with low volume or muted with other music. First time really listening to it. The beginning makes me want to frolick ina meadow and toss flowers everywhere!!!!!
Ahh.. Can't wait for the Ascalonian Ghosts Arc and Logan becoming the King of Ascalon. Let us take care of Joko and the two Elder Dragons so we can get to fun stuff!
This is one of the motivating songs I've ever heard in my life, I listen to it everyday. Makes me feeling like gears are turning in my life and that I need to move forward everyday.
This is my fave song in the whole game. It feels badbass in WvW especially at 1:05. The first time I heard this was in Queensdale. It gave me a sense of adventure too.
Yeah, once when I and pack of friends and other players was in the priory, and atacked as aataxes, and all others, when we close the gates, and we was running with battle cries about incoming Shadow behemot, to the event location that tracks popped out - that had crazy effect :D
Everyone always seems to be so infatuated with the main themes of soundtracks--which is okay, of course; they're designed to get in your head, so when you hear it, you know "Ah, yes, Guild Wars!" or "Hey, that's Skyrim! I love Skyrim!" In all honesty, though, I really adore the tracks such as these, the hidden gems that play in the background. I think they're really what defines the mood of a game, and to be frank, I just enjoy them.
The most beautiful world exploration theme since Morrowinds Main Theme! Thank you....just thank you so much for your adding of great epic musical scores to our world, Jeremy Soule! THANK YOUUU! Q_Q
The only problem guild wars 2 had is that it was a new game! O_O WoW has existed for I don't know HOW long, but guild wars 2 has sooo many things yet to be added, the living world that has just started showing it's full potential and the soon-to-come "Expansions" where they will add new continents like Cantha, Elona and even new areas in Tyria like The ring of fire or The crystal desert... Just be patient and compare it not to what WoW (or other games are today), but when they were released :)
this song should have made a movie somewhere Jeremy Soul his a Genius i would write a word behind this logan journey who is in my mind the best song among all or in the top 2 too badd it 2:32
The "aesthetics" of Guild Wars 2 is superb--the graphical style, art direction, music, and even gameplay is stunning. The main problem I had with Guild Wars 2 is that it felt way too much like a "game." It was hard to lose myself in its universe when it kept reminding that this whole world was just another MMO. So, yes, I see what you mean by "no magic." Yes, there's "magic," as in "I cast flare!", but is there that "spark" that leaves you wishing you could live there forever? I don't know.
No matter how bad my day is, when I listen to this it always makes me happy. The song makes me feel like I am free and I am on an adventure.
Love it when this song pops in WvW. There's something special about running with a group while this song plays.
Yes even now I agree, it feels so amazing to hear.
"Logan ruined everything"
-Pretty much everyone
The ultimate simp

And I first met him in Secret of Evermore which was done on a casio midi keyboard. ruclips.net/video/xEnfRG6Oal4/видео.html
Unfortunately in current day, he is cancelled by public sentencing simply by accusations alone.
Gaming just won't be the same without Jeremy Soule.
Just bought the game today and was doing some tasks in Queensdale when this played and I absolutely fell in love. xD
This track alone made me want to purchase the soundtrack.
This is my favorite song on the soundtrack
me 2 :D
I may have left this game, but this song sure won't leave me. Like, ever.
This game is just something else with it's amazing artwork and music. Gameplay is unique too. Love this game
it's pretty unusual in that the soundtrack is basically a classically-musci influenced one. Great stuff.

"More flowers I say, less violence!"
Wow! That's quality armor!
"More Violets I say, less violence"

Perfect when in Divinity's Reach especially
Oh yeah, generally Queen's Dale
THIS IS A STORY FULL OF ADVENTURE AND WONDER! A STORY OF A YOUNG MAN WITH A LUST FOR DISCOVERY AND A GLEAM IN HIS EYE FOR CONQUEST!

Super Adventure Box World 1!
I just realized this was the Sunny Glade song from the Super Adventure Box, when I heard the horn at 0:27.
This is one of the motivating songs I've ever heard in my life, I listen to it everyday. Makes me feeling like gears are turning in my life and that I need to move forward everyday.

"I'm going on an adventure!" - Bilbo Baggins
Vibin' in minster's waypoint be like
If Edge of Destiny ever gets a movie this needs to be in it!
Yeah, once when I and pack of friends and other players was in the priory, and atacked as aataxes, and all others, when we close the gates, and we was running with battle cries about incoming Shadow behemot, to the event location that tracks popped out - that had crazy effect :D
I love the buildup at the start
I think i will get this game in 2 months. Money is the only thing holding me back right now
It's worth The money

Best ost of the entire game

Hmmm The Seraph and Fear Not This Night are also pretty amazing :)
Best music to adventure to! I love when it starts playing in WvW
The sound of adventure
I love it when this track randomly pops up while I'm traveling.
reminds me of treasure planet for some reason.
this song should have made a movie somewhere Jeremy Soul his a Genius i would write a word behind this logan journey who is in my mind the best song among all or in the top 2 too badd it 2:32
i really want the concert sheet music to this (if it exsists) so i can play this in band
Who is still listening in November 2020?
Thanks.

Best song in Guild wars 2 imo
This song is remixed as the first SAB song (sunny glade) :)
Lmao "no magic in it"
Too much epicness! X3
Hell YES!
Would like to know why this sound track plays everytime all suden in the shatterer battle
me tooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!
Are centaurs evil?
musicote 😁😁
MAYTAG99 NEW ACCOUNT??
My first MMO. Loved it, but then I tried WOW classic. Much better.
The game got too boring, but I still like the soundtrack.
The music of Guild Wars 2 was pretty good, sadly the game itself, while good, wasn't that great... found it to be too formulaic. No magic in it.
