Glad to see you made it to the Bering sea. I met you two at Cyr's Gold dredge while on my solo to Dawson. I can still remember the taste of that Hungarian liquor!
When I heard about your trouble with the high winds before Carmacks I had to laugh...I got caught in the same wind....although I could not out run the storm that followed! It was so windy, that I almost got blown up-stream. (not even 1 km/hr.) I have not yet been past Dawson, but look forward to doing it one day. I will be going again this mid or late June, as I can never have enough of the river I grew up on!
I also remember when you pulled in, not an hour later the two young ladies also arrive. They were laughing late into the night! It sure was a wet/cold morning
