When he plays with the cream of the spanish national team they are almost untouchable. I think he's badly let down by his fellow defenders in the real madrid strip. Of course i know this would'nt happen but if he was to play for barcelona...unstoppable. top player.

to be honest, i agree. i don't think it'll really matter whether ronaldo leaver man utd to join real madrid or not. i think either team have players to fill up the right wing spot and of course, ramos can definitely play right ring. at least i think so. may not be the best wing but i think he can definitely cover it.
Sergio ramos is the best defender beacuse, his team won thier league, his other team won the Euro. beacsue he knows when to go up and when to come back, his moves are good (for a defender) and effective and he gets alot of scoring chances meaning he can play alomost any position, well. thats all i have to say aboutthat
As a fan you have to have high expectations of your team I do have them even though i did not sound like it. We've had a rocky season and we are missing key players to our team. I have complete faith that they can come back from the 1-0, we've won in England before, Man Utd knows that, and if we they win again, then thats good. If we don't, focus on the league, we always have next year, simple as that... xD
Puyol is 30 and is still undoubtely in his prime, if the topic of debate is the best defender now then age should not be considered a factor, as a pure Center back Puyol is much better, but I think Ramos is probably the best fullback in the world.
U cant judge a player to how many clean sheets their team has had, otherwise Ramos and Vidic would both look average players as LFC were able to score 4 goals against both of them :D I also think Ramos is one of the best defenders in the world and defitnetly the best RB. Hope he comes to LFC :)
