Funny thing. The PVM 6041QM photo with the green power button and missing volume knob is the exact photo of my unit. Did not expect to find it floating around further away than on reddit lol :D
Regarding the color of the image, the left monitor was red and the right monitor was blue, so it looked slightly different. 😅If you turn the power off, reset the color, and turn it on, the white balance will be automatically adjusted, but if the CRT becomes defective, it will be disrupted. 😢
Looking into getting a 9044qm, admittedly new to old crt collection and looking for one for the old retro arcade/snes/MD visual feel/tvl. I have a chance to get one but not sure if good for a newbie/someone without tech experience. If able would you reccomend I get 1 (it appears to be the "newer" grey button model) and if I should/able how much cost wise would be acceptable. I am considering it for size as its perfect to fit in my room but the only drawback is inexperience and no tech skills to fix should something go wrong (from my understanding btw the one I am looking at is in very good condition with a slight dent on frame but has been checked and doesnt affect the unit).

lol this has happend to me before, using someone else's crt pictures in videos to then have the original owner/photographer comment.

The only 9inch monitor I have is a 9L3 with a bkm-129x, pretty cool but it’s use cases are limited for me.
9L3, 14L4, 20L5 😊
The 9L3 is built well inside, metal framing rather than plastic like many of its predecessors.
@@SamsungS-or1qf nice, would love to have a 20L5, in addition to the 9L3 I have a 2950qm, 14L5, 14L4 and 20m2md.
@@rgbrob that’s good to know thanks Rob.
@fink32 nice, would love to have 2950qm , how's the geometry?
Very cool but too small to game on...I would go 14 to 20 inch display.
Hey Rob, are either of these for sale? Looking for this particular model, I've found them hard to come by, cheers!
日本オークションではたまに見つかります!😊
@@zhaohaigaogu7821 Absolutely, but a pain to ship just one back to Melbourne...thanks anyway mate!

Rob, did you ever find a 100Hz that is capable of 240p with scanlines?
no havent seen a tv thats 100hz and displays 240p correctly
@RGB Rob I know some of the Philips 100Hz will do it 🙂, Matchline 3 series, also has the most satisfying degauss sound you'll ever hear 😄
I aquired one of these today though green tint on screen in corner
I am trying to fix it
