I think it's a random occurrence that only happens sometimes in Classic Mode, if you just choose Target Test it's only going to play the Target Test theme
Can somebody please explain to me what the whole race to the finish thing is? I almost have every character unlocked again I got a new GameCube and this game a couple years ago for my bday lol biggest regret is getting rid of it when I was younger but at least I got it again now
Mewtwo ain't the kinda character to do Classic on an intense difficulty. His moves (except his backward throw and maybe upward throw) aren't that powerful enough to KO anyone

I believe you can get it to play if you hold down L or R in the loading screen.

Try adventure very hard with Mewtwo or young link
I also passed it although 2 to continue but more than that I had 999 coins
