What i make wrong in this Case thats this settings Always falls Back!? Thanks a Lot for helping best regards
Hello abdulah, franz, thanks for your question. The function of selectiing "series numbers "is to call the voltage point. When reading the data, you can ignore it and just check the voltage points is compatible with your lithium batteries. We will also update this function in new developed software. tks.
@@Epever I have a tracer BN. Why can't you make it a feature of the solar station software to recorder each poll from the system? You make a graph out of it but I can only save an image of it?

Hi, I have a system with LiFEPO4 batteries and I have connected the Epever Tracer 6415 AN to the computer to set the parameters as "USER". In the "Parameters - Control Parameters" menu I saw that there are 3 screens that can be select, labelled "Sealed", "LIFEPO4" or "Li Battery" respectively, and in each of them I can select "USER". Should I only use the "LiFEPO4" screen, or can the "USER" selection be made indiscriminately in any screen (even Sealed or Li Battery) and EPEVER will automatically recognise it uniquely? The EPEVER is great but the SW component is unfortunately not accompanied by a sufficiently detailed manual. Thank you in advance from Italy
Hello there, please follow the steps to set up a lithium battery: In the Parameters tab, please select Control Parameter (For LiBattery controller product), then set the current Battery Type to "LiBattery", and current LiBattery Type to "LiFePO4"; then choose the current Series Number according to the battery voltage lever: choose "4" for 12V battery, 8 for 24V, 12 for 36V, 16 for 48V. Then please disable "Oilengine Controlsignal, and set the charging voltage points you want. Finally, click update.
@@Epever Thank you for your prompt reply. I intend to set my own charging voltages. I noticed that, instead of selecting current battery type to "LiFePO4, I can select also "USER". What is the difference between them? Furtermore, I noticed that if I try to select USER and then I attempt to select the current Series Number according to my battery voltage level (12V), I can select only between 3, 6, 9 or 12 and not "4" as you suggested. What is the reason for? Thank you again.
Hello, we recommend selecting LiFePO4, as choosing User doesn't allow you to select the system voltage level for the battery. After selecting the LiFePO4 battery type, you can still modify charging voltage points. After updating the parameters, the battery type will automatically change to User.@@alexcats5298
Hi ! I followed your procedure that allowed me to select the system voltage level for the battery to "4" (12V). As soon as I click on "update", LiFePO4 change to User, as you said, but ...also the system voltage level for the battery ...go back again to "3". I don't understand Why.. . Thank you for a clarification on this issue. Have a nice day. @Epever
Hi ! I set in the SW the values of "Li-Batt Low temperature Charging limit" and "Li-Batt Low temperature Dicharging limit" at 4°C. I noticed a mismatch between the "Battery Temperature" displayed on the Charger and the temperature measured with a termometer placed on the Battery. For example now the Charger show 24°C while the termometer applied to the Battery show 19°C. This means that when for the Charger is at 4°C , the battery is already a -1°C !😱 (too late to stop the battery from charging/discharging). How can I manage it? Note: could you please answer also to the comments I posted 5 days ago? (see below). Thank you again
Hello there, have you connected a remote temperature sensor directly to the battery, or are you relying on the local temperature sensor? The accuracy of temperature readings may be affected if a temperature sensor isn’t directly connected to the battery.
I have a RTS300R47K3.81A sensor, but at the moment I have not used it because I thought it was not suitable with LiFePO4 batteries. Can I use it with LiFePO4? If so, where should I fix it on the battery pack? Is there a specific point? Thank you@@Epever
You can place the end of the temperature sensor directly on the surface of the LiFePO4 battery and ensure a good connection between the probe and the battery.@@alexcats5298
OK, I did it and now the charger display shows the temperature of the RTS. Will this now be the reference temperature used by Epever for the "Li-Batt Low temperature Charging limit"? Also, I do not want to perform "Temperature compensation" for my LiFePO4 batteries. To be sure to avoid this, is it correct if I set the current Temperature Compensation value to 0? Thank you again 😀@@Epever
Yes, this temperature will serve as the reference temperature for the low-temperature cutoff of the lithium battery. We recommend configuring the lithium battery parameters using the PC software or via WiFi/BLE to enable the low-temperature cutoff function. Once the settings are completed, the temperature compensation value will automatically adjust to 0. Please make sure to restart the controller after configuring the settings for them to take effect.@@alexcats5298

Good morning, selecting Parameters - control parameters, in the page I have to set two values: Rated Load Current and Rated charging Current. Could you please tell me what these vales stand for? Thank you.
