  • In this video I’m using some professional powdered feather dye from Josh over at www.wildfletching.com. Today’s color is neon. I’ve had great luck dying full length feathers then burning to shape. Today we will be dying pre chopped feathers and it works equally as well! Josh offers some great dye color options so be sure to check him out!
If you are in the market for wild Turkey feathers you can source them direct from Wild fletching or head over to www.Archerypast.com and Riley carries not only wild fletching natural primaries but is a valuable one stop shop for all your traditional archery needs!

How well did the home dyed feathers glue to the shaft, compared to the pre-dyed ones from Lancaster Archery Supply?

They glue great. I use Duco cement and don’t notice any difference between the ones I dye or ones I buy. These were primaries from @wildfletching and his quill grind is perfect 👌🏻
